@@Afreshio No no no no! This was and never will be okay for Luke to do. Bullying leaves trauma and especially at a kid whose father neglected him, a big brother who also bullied him and the pressure of being a Targaryen. Did Luke deserve his ending? No. But maybe it could've changed some things if he had learn when to wipe that smug face off. Especially in front of a skilled swordsman with a bigass dragon, whose eye Luke cut off, who (because of distrust) is clearly at his watch for when the Strong boys would fuck up. But this is also why I love House of the Dragon - most of the characters are so complex and can't be seen as totally vile or an angel.

I always read that as contempt? He sees what Aemond is trying to do, and who he's trying to be and sees through him. Thinking he's all bark, but very little bite at the end of the day. A bully more than a warrior. Maybe it's just me, but I always thought Aemond was trying to be a Daemon but lacked the few virtues that he had, namely courage. Daemon is very abrasive (to put things mildly), but at this point in his life has learned that there's a time and a place, and has at least somewhat proven himself in battle. Aemond hasn't done any of that. His only real claim to glory is Vhagar, and we see later in the series that even that is a bit of a paper tiger.
Yeah don’t agree. He views rhaenerya kids as his own sons as they view him as a second dad. I highly doubt he’s proud of that punk Aemond. I think he smiled to intimidate Aemond into submission

@@johnblake4589 Sorry but you really haven’t been paying attention. You don’t seem to get Daemond. He’s written to be morally ambiguous. He is not like Ned Stark. Way too many examples in HoD for you to say otherwise. He has flipped on allegiances, his brother, and let’s not forget he even seduced his own niece, when she was a child for a chance to steal his brother’s crown. Daemond does not give one f*** about integrity. He only cares about himself and we’ve seen time and time again that he’s willing to lie and play dirty to get ahead. He’s also a fan of chaos. But above all else he’s into power. And this is something you clearly forget, but this is why Rhaenyra married him. She needed someone willing to do whatever it takes to get her on the throne. They are not bonded over love, but for their lust for the throne. Their marriage is born out of strategy, one in which they both are mutually aware of the game they’re playing. Daemond bonding with her sons isn’t a sign he loves them more than his own kids, he’s bonded to them because of the alliance he has with their mother. He and Rhaenyra, together, have the best claim to the throne. So no, he doesn’t really care about his nephews being bullied, he CARES about the rumor that they’re bastards because it screws with their chances to the throne. But Daemond, by nature, is every bit of the cynic as Aemond, and they have the very same dark, twisted wit and smart mouth that can cause trouble. This is why he’s smiling at the very end as he watches Aemond walk off. He’s intrigued because Aemond is very much like him. While they may have different loyalties, it also is a great illustration of how similar they are as kin. Now, none of this means that Aemond isn’t both awe struck and intimidated by Daemond, cuz I think he is, hence him backing off with one stare down from Daemond. But that doesn’t mean Daemond isn’t silently tickled by the entire display. Which really speaks to Daemond’s twisted sort of perverted world view, in which he dances between what’s right and wrong. Much like Aemond.
Great idea to laugh at a guy who you bullied for years for not having a dragon and gave him a pig,, the same guy who has claimed the largest most dangerous dragon, the same guy whom you saw that very afternoon showing off how good he has become in combat. It not like he personally hates you for cutting his eye out and you not being punished for it. Lucerys might not be so clever🤔
Ytube is fking with my views, can u see my most recent video called refugee remix with Aemond, this ish is pissing me off, they not promoting our videos 😡
The audacity Luke had to still be laughing while literally looking in his eyes when Aemond turned his face to him, having no remorse for what he did...that was enough for Luke to deserve the way he died
He wasn't actually laughing at the eye. If you look at the angle of the camera, it looks like Aemond was on top of a pig. This was a callback to when the boys were younger, when the boys, including Aegon, suprised Aemond with a pig, claiming it was his Dragon he'd be riding.
@@vagrant1515 exactly. Aemond was minding his own business already and yet Luke thought it was funny to laugh upon remembering something they bullied Aemond with. He never even apologized for the loss of Aemond's eye.
Dude I swear… The moment I realised Aemond probably couldn’t see Lucerys because of his eyepatch 🗿 Gutwrenching. Idk if I were Aemond Luke’s death wouldn’t have been accidental

What was luke laughing about. It baffles me how he never felt guilty about what he did to aemond. HE MAIMED HIM FOR GOD SAKE! He should have been punished.
He didn’t feel guilty because he felt justified. He didn’t mean to take his eye, but Aemond was literally choking him to death and then hit his brother with a rock. So why would he feel guilt? He did what was right in his mind.
I love the detail of Aemond naming only Jace, Luke and Joffrey. Not naming Viserys or Aegon even though they’re also his nephews at this point, his sister’s sons. Aemond is a Targaryen loyalist true and true lol.
Yeah, obviously it’s sad their moment of peace was ended but I don’t blame Aemond here. Luke took his eye out and now he has the gall to laugh at Aemond to his face? I wouldn’t blame him for wanting to get back. Plus Jace hit first.
Never forget, it's Jace who brought the knife from the room and gave it to Luke while they decided to confront Aemond after Aemond claiming Vhagar. Whether Luke's smirk at the dinner or Luke's dragon breathing fire at Vhagar first, at multiple occasions the story hints how Jace and Luke are sneaky little bastards. Team black's fans always misses these hints conveniently.
Aemond wants to be Daemon and in some reguard he is but he doesn't have Daemon experinces and Lack the ability to be 2 steps ahead . And it more so in the books !
I now get it. Because he was given a pig for a Mount when he was a kid, the servers put down a pig infront of him and it looks like he’s riding it. That’s why he’s laughing.

My thought after this memorable scene was...why? Why of all the people in the room, were you going to laugh at THAT guy? Your young Uncle who's now a lot bigger and stronger than you, a much better fighter than you, and who rides the biggest dragon in the world? Why joke with THAT guy when he's sitting there, quietly brooding, not talking to anyone and exuding hostility? Lol!
Helaena clapping in the background while Aemond is giving his speech, thinking it's actually a compliment is so innocent and cute 😂 Also, I never noticed that when they're fighting, Rhaena has to hold Baela back from jumping in as well

@@elijahfrancisrabor1388 He didn’t deliberately taunt him. He just remembered something and giggled to himself. I don’t even think he expected Aemond to see it.
tbh it's obviously passive-aggressive comment that even Alicent knew what he is trying to stir.
@@AdamNoizer He directly look at him in the eye and smirked provocatively
@@noledjokovic100 He definitely did not look him in the eye because Aemond had no eye on the side of his face that was facing Lucerys.
You know, I used to feel a little sad when Vhagar went chomp on the little bastard, and then I remember this scene.
Dang aemond didn’t even spill his wine that’s how we know he’s tough as hell
Haelena is so precious just like Marcella and Tommen were in GOT. such innocence.
It’s the not-so-subtle shade for me. Those boys are “strong” 😏😂
Exactly 💯
Hi hunny
Do u watch the show Nia?
@@mahoghanyrootzandmj Yesssss! I was a total “thronie” too. For me HOD started out a little slow, but it has certainly picked up 🙌🏽
Come! Let us drain our cups, to these 3... Strong, boys.
I love the way Aemond pushes the boy to the floor like it's nothing and he gets that grin on his face. Smokin' hot.
You can really see Alicent taking sharp breaths out of nervousness lmao
I never noticed Rhena holding Beala back when the guards grabbed Jace and Luke
FINALLY SOMEONE NOTICED WITH ME. Baela is such a badass wouldn’t let no one disrespect her hubby
She gone get stuck again lol😂
Alicent should learn parenting lessons from daemon
lol
Brothers immediately became allies 😂
Aemond by far is the most interesting character in this show
Nah daemon is
Aemond's smile @1:14 be like 'Is this your strongest punch 😂'.. and the fact that he stood there taking the punch well knowing it wont hurt him
@piqueshakira6784 "you call yourself strong..."
*punch 👊
".... you call that a punch?"
*shove
He starts laughing probably thinking a son of Harwin should've been at LEAST able to take a shove
Daemon didn't even have to speak. 😗
your right
@@mahoghanyrootzandmj freedom of speech
He just cant wait to stick his sword in Aemond's eye
Aegon wanted that smoke 😆 the way he slammed lucerys strong on table was lethal 🤣
That's what happens when you eat too much during dinner, you get fed up.
@@achrist16 🤣🤣🤣
Aemond taking that punch with a smile, and being completely unphased by the pillow hands of his nephew is BY FAR the best scene of this season.
What a great character Aemond is can’t wait to see more
me either, sooo excited
I kind of didn't feel sorry for Lucerys when Vhagar devoured him whole. He was the typical spoilt rotten younger nephew that some Uncles have to put up with. They sit there family events trying to provoke you and talk badly behind your back. He bit off more then he could chew with Aemond and he didn't know when to stop. You can see the fear in his eyes when Aemond finally has him alone.
Exactly, he wasn’t so tough when it was one on one. He ran away like the coward that he is.
To Be Fair, Lucerys started this by laughing at him. And bully him by sending him a 🐖 when he was a boy.
It was just a cousin laughing at an old joke. It's a stupid reason to start a family feud.
@@Afreshio butthurt black fan
@@Afreshio Dude he's the same person that carved out the kid's eye, and then has the audacity to laugh at him as well.
@@Afreshio nah laughing at the pig didn’t start the fued, that was just the last straw. Don’t forget Luce blinded Aemond in one eye and didn’t apologize or face consequences.
well considering how they liked to torment him as a child, and took his eye, the insults he hurled at them were the least of what they deserved.
Yeah, even if jace sucker punched him, Aemond stood his ground and humilated him by pushing him to the ground. Imagine laughing at the same guy you sliced the eye off years earlier. What a sore loser
I love how Daemon smiles as Aemond walks away like “damn bro this kid is awesome” lmaoo I kinda wish it showed what happened when Daemon followed him out of the room
@@johnblake4589 You could very well be correct, Daemon is a hard man to read and I think that’s why everyone likes the character so much.
Yeah don’t agree. He views rhaenerya kids as his own sons as they view him as a second dad. I highly doubt he’s proud of that punk Aemond. I think he smiled to intimidate Aemond into submission
@@kathrynorozco5416 didn’t say he’s “proud” of him. and yes I am sure in a way he was trying to intimidate him as he ultimately understands he is looking at an enemy. but I honestly believe he understands Aemond is sharp & appreciated his little joke/speech, but I do not for a second think he would show him any mercy… especially after what he does at the end of the season.
Much like Aemond.
i just love how he hit the table before he got up to speak
Great idea to laugh at a guy who you bullied for years for not having a dragon and gave him a pig,, the same guy who has claimed the largest most dangerous dragon, the same guy whom you saw that very afternoon showing off how good he has become in combat. It not like he personally hates you for cutting his eye out and you not being punished for it. Lucerys might not be so clever🤔
👍🏽 that's why lil Lucerys became dinner
thats why luke becomes strong sandwidth for vhagar
I really never liked this kid
Well, he had what he got coming. Granny Vhagar went chomp.
1:00 Aegon raises his glass twice in a row LOL
Good catch
I know Daemon's scene is in every clip in RUclips but Aemond's trolling of the brothers is really hilarious.
Imagine trying to laugh or poke fun at someone better than you in every way 😅.
Aemond is a Kingsguard level warrior and these strong boys treat him like he's nothing.
Those family get togethers are so awkward.
Ytube is fking with my views, can u see my most recent video called refugee remix with Aemond, this ish is pissing me off, they not promoting our videos 😡
I just watched another ytuber upload a similar video same time got 10000 views I got 9, wtf 😳😑
The kid was asking for it mocking his looks, all the while knowing how they look with the raven coloured hair😂😂😂
Damn aemond took that punch and aegon slamming luke to the table 😂
I love how the girls were ready to throw down too. They like “remember we jumped you before”

Daemon looked at him like what you gonna do now?😂😂
Baela was ready to throw hands.
lol yes
She is the reason why Aemond evolved a female - domina fetish
thats my girl
And get beaten again 😂
"I dare you to say that again". Seconds later: Jace and Luke getting put in their place
And thats why I dont feel that bad when Aemond causes Lucerys death. They never outgrew being bullies.
He looks so cool and chilling until the roast pig came out, I don't know what Lucery was laughing at, but I laugh at that scene...
he was laughing cause its reminds him in the pig on ep 6 when they gave him as a dragon
@@ty-zz9ic in the books it wasn't accidental.
I feel so slow. I've watched this scene multiple times and just now realized Aemond was saying "Strong" over and over as a dual meaning for their bloodline not being Velaryan, but being bastards of Lord Strong *face palm
its ok, they're always things we don't notice the first time we see something
So we've found Halaena haha

What was luke laughing about.
It baffles me how he never felt guilty about what he did to aemond. HE MAIMED HIM FOR GOD SAKE!
He should have been punished.
He got punished all right lol chomp chomp
He didn’t feel guilty because he felt justified. He didn’t mean to take his eye, but Aemond was literally choking him to death and then hit his brother with a rock. So why would he feel guilt? He did what was right in his mind.
Uncle Daemon was like "settle down Nephew!" "You want get to keep your tongue".
lol,rt
A senior dragon disciplines younger dragon by just body language.
The level of bad*ssery, dark humor and wit Aemond displays is so good, that the scene automatically runs a second time.
I love the detail of Aemond naming only Jace, Luke and Joffrey. Not naming Viserys or Aegon even though they’re also his nephews at this point, his sister’s sons. Aemond is a Targaryen loyalist true and true lol.
With all this white blonde hair you’d think we were looking at drone elves
Aemond wanted all the smoke
Yeah, obviously it’s sad their moment of peace was ended but I don’t blame Aemond here. Luke took his eye out and now he has the gall to laugh at Aemond to his face? I wouldn’t blame him for wanting to get back. Plus Jace hit first.
Daemon and Aemond, two sides of the same coin.
Well said, Aemond. Strong boys aren't proud of their family😃
Not Baela about to go throw hands too 😂
Yeah noticed her sister is pulling her away lmao.
As expected to Daemon's daughter
Aemond gagged Rhaenyra😂
Nah, that was Daemon. Rhaenyra only rode the biggest and baddest dragons.
@@fortheloveofcats2462 Daemon is a wife killer
Aemond was minding his own business. But Strong boy Luke disturbed his programe
How about Aegon being the ringleader of bullying Aemond? How come Greens always miss that bit?
@@JM-ds6iu I don't think that greens miss that bit. Nobody likes aegon. I think that most greens support their team because of Aemond.

Daemon was thinking "Alright now nephew."You won't get to keep your tongue ".
Aemond didn’t want that Daemon smoke
I now get it. Because he was given a pig for a Mount when he was a kid, the servers put down a pig infront of him and it looks like he’s riding it. That’s why he’s laughing.

anyone notice baela jumping into the fight and rhaena physically dragging her back? loved that detail lol. same with luke and aegon immediately and wordlessly coming to back up their brothers.
anyways im team black though but the way aemond and aegon totally bodied those two kids so fast lol it was hilarious

Aemond is honestly the most interesting character, at least for me right now. Really love every time he’s on screen.
P.S- the bastards deserved this scene 100%.
I fkn died at this scene absolutely gold 🤣
It was great
My thought after this memorable scene was...why? Why of all the people in the room, were you going to laugh at THAT guy? Your young Uncle who's now a lot bigger and stronger than you, a much better fighter than you, and who rides the biggest dragon in the world? Why joke with THAT guy when he's sitting there, quietly brooding, not talking to anyone and exuding hostility? Lol!
Exuding hostility 😂😂
Helaena clapping in the background while Aemond is giving his speech, thinking it's actually a compliment is so innocent and cute 😂
Also, I never noticed that when they're fighting, Rhaena has to hold Baela back from jumping in as well
I don't defend all of Aemond's actions. Pretty much everyone in this family is an @$$hole, but he did kind've get bullied and treated like the black sheep, had his eye ripped out and mocked, and even after a huge speech about family reconciliation this immature kid tried to mock him. If you push someone far enough, they'll snap.
Daemon walks Jace down like a dog does its pups
He views them as his kids so that’s why he behaves more like their dad. He’s kinda taken in the role of their dad after their dad was murdered
This is what you get when you bully constantly...when an eye was already taken .
Luke shouldn't of put that roasted pig in front of Aemond
Well... Aemond was fed... But Vhaghar was hungry 😅. Bullies taste like pigs for some reason... 🔥🔥
3:09 Rhaena stooppping baela in the back 😅
Aemond slamming Lucery's head is hilarious for me. I remember when my older brother and I were kids, he did the same to me when Im disctracting him when he was playing computer game 😂😂
I understand the first chuckle but that little Strong Bastard looked right at Prince Aemond and mocked him... idgaf he was a kid, he knew what he was doing.
