The Indians singing "Release Me" Sung by Noel Brady - Aka - Big Chief Flaming Star Recorded live at Pontin's Brean Sands' back in 1990 Enjoy little indian's! :'), x x x
This is shocking, I'm the last year of the baby boomer; a fan of Elvis; Tom Jones; Engelbert; Sinatra and all the rest and I'm discovering this man for the first time today. I lost both of my parents in the last couple of years, and they really wouldn't have believed this.
What an absolutely unbelievable amazing voice - heard them many times during the dancehall days but in those days although I was a music fanatic I didn’t realise how brilliant they were- too many distractions 🤪Listen to this song and if you know anything about music you will realise how brilliant Noel Brady was - there’s nobody out there on the scene who could hold a candle to him when they talk about today’s “ stars” .
Yes same here we didn’t appreciate how good he was. How good the band was. As you said to many distractions, love to go back now and listen and appreciate just how good they were and how lucky we were. We had the best of times
I am fortunate to have seen this band back in the day, from the 70s to the mid-80s and they were quite incredible. Noel Brady stood out and was a great frontman and had a phenomenal voice. Thanks lads for some amazing memories.
Same as seen them many times in Ireland and a few times in England amazing band all very talented musicians Noel’s voice so powerful and rich the best front man of any of the bands I believe he still gigs with them as a guest star or did before this pandemic long may they continue still love listening to their music he definitely lived up to his name the unforgettable FLAMING STAR 💕
Noel you have a voice of an angel. I just found your music a couple of days ago and where have I been all my life you are and you're Band are the best. OM freaking G.🇨🇦🥰🥰🥰🥰💯💯🇨🇦🍻🍺
Messing about on RUclips and found this band, what a voice this man has absolutely brilliant, I've never heard of them, what a shame, wish I had heard this man before now, what a singer.
Wonderful voice Noel , I have recently found the Indians on facebook, fascinated by Noel,s rendition of" Holding things together " I love Irish Country music , so don't know where you been hiding. I only live across the Irish sea
i forgot to mention i went to hear the Indians in Dublin on my way to PRESTON to work for my spent a couple of days in Dublin , on the night i went to hear the Indians i bumped into a lovely lady didnt go to England following Tuesday stayed in Dublin and fell in love and got married 2 yrs later and then went to England , thanks Noel and the INDIANS , im still besotted with my wife ,,,
FOR OVER 45 YEARS I HAVE BEEN A VERY BIG FAN OF BRENDAN BOWYER ALWAYS MY NUMBER ONE SINGER. JUST FOUND THIS MAN CALLED NOEL BRADY WHAT A GREAT SINGER IF ANYONE GOT ANY DETAILS ON NOEL PLEASE PASS IT ON
HI anybody did not comment they are unique as they are the only show band somewhat active today from the good old days the sixties and before , although most of the original members have gone one still remains eammon bless the days that were .
im beginning to think this guy Noel Brsdy had it all voice stage movements , he glided across the stage , powerful voice but with a phenomenal pitch and range , im a big admirer of DJ Curtin and Red Hurley , but Noel is better operator what the other 2 lacked Brady had it , Curtin had great charisma and was always personable with his fans , movement on stage not too great ,,, Hurley had a voice but nothing else ,,charisma and personality he certainly wasnt born with
im a maori from new zealand probably late here but this band did or does absolutely nothing for me.the biggest mistake they make is not doing indian dancing in there routine. The original indians out west were great dancers and with this song you could totally incorporate indian dancing to the max most benefit of there performances. Its a shame hes got the indian dress on but hes dancing like a white guy from europe. And his singing is nowhere near johnny moores level.
Absolutely fantastic my and my friend used to follow them everywhere over twenty years ago fantastic 🎉
Fantastic song 😍

Think the original bass player still plays with them as well as the keyboard player. Chap singing also still makes guest appearances.
