I do actually recommend returning to the tutorial area for people who like shields, because the golden greatshield is quite good for the first few areas
once you unlok the 4 bellfreys you can also revisit the tutorial area so you don't have to start a new game every time you died just to have that weapon(and shield) and it only cost's an infused imp key (the blue one)
A correction: You can kill the boss at any time to get those items and runes, it just gets you a tiny boost earlier when you kill it on first encounter; the route you'd need to defeat it normally starts with the Four Belfries in the far west of Liurnia, north-by-north-by-northeast of the minor erdtree.
The easiest method is to die to it, then alt + f4 during the cut scene. You actually don't die when killed by the boss. It leave your character at 0 HP and freezez the game while playing the screen. But if you alt f4 and load the game again you will spawn outside the fog gate with 0 HP and be invincible. (Untill fall damage or status effects) go get your easy loot :) Ps not sure if this has been patched as it's been some time since i found out, and it's not that known.
West Liurnia there is a hill called The Four Belfries and at the very top is a site of grace and I do believe and imbude sword stone key on the next one down that you can use to set in the imp statue to unlock the teleporter, it will take you right outside of this area, defeat the boss and head back to the church but instead go right, a door will be open now with two items that you can give to Nephili, also the last belfrey (if you get another imbude sword stone key) will take you just outside the crumbling ruins where there is two enemies and 2 items I think but no site of grace so collect your stuff and teleport out
After defeating the same monster in stormveil castle it was easy to defeat the tutorial boss when I first discovered I could go back to it using some special keys and portals.

Red sun...
Red sun over paradise...
I never knew you could do this, my game glitched me through the ground and I never saw that boss ever again
It didn't glitch you through the ground, you're intended to lose this fight. You can come back later using one of the Belfry portals.
@@William256 I’m gonna have to find my way back! Thanks for the heads up
I do actually recommend returning to the tutorial area for people who like shields, because the golden greatshield is quite good for the first few areas
once you unlok the 4 bellfreys you can also revisit the tutorial area so you don't have to start a new game every time you died just to have that weapon(and shield) and it only cost's an infused imp key (the blue one)
Dude I just realized this is the guy I watched on Skyrim stuff when I was a kid
(Untill fall damage or status effects) go get your easy loot :)
Ps not sure if this has been patched as it's been some time since i found out, and it's not that known.
google the boss under the cloak to be traumatized
West Liurnia there is a hill called The Four Belfries and at the very top is a site of grace and I do believe and imbude sword stone key on the next one down that you can use to set in the imp statue to unlock the teleporter, it will take you right outside of this area, defeat the boss and head back to the church but instead go right, a door will be open now with two items that you can give to Nephili, also the last belfrey (if you get another imbude sword stone key) will take you just outside the crumbling ruins where there is two enemies and 2 items I think but no site of grace so collect your stuff and teleport out
tutorial boss ? nuh uh, welcome to Elden Ring boss
You can come back to get the stuff later
This game teaches you how fun respawning feels
Thank you very much for helping us get gud stuff in skyrim
I knew about the swords, but didn’t know about the dual wield combo
Will definitely check that out in my Christian monsoon build
You can go back to it at the Four Belfries in the highest one with the portal. You need an Imbued Sword key though
After defeating the same monster in stormveil castle it was easy to defeat the tutorial boss when I first discovered I could go back to it using some special keys and portals.
