These guys were underrated, lot of folks probably don't know they were a big part of Marty Robbins show

      On the Marty Robbins
live shows they were his backup group doing the do wop singing behind his pop songs. Nothing like you hear here on those! Available on RUclips.

Actually it was NOT all 3 brothers - it was brother Jim Glaser (tenor) and Bobby Sykes (baritone). In fact those two sang on all of Marty Robbins cuts for his "Gunfighter Ballads & Trail Songs" LP. All 3 Glaser brothers did sing back up to Marty on some of his recordings after that.

@@dannyc1174 thanks for the correction !! alot of famous performers have done back=ups and are not known on hit recordings

@@janetmartin8048 No problem and, man, are you ever right about some GREAT back-up singers not either getting credit or being known on recordings by famous performers!

Jim himself thinks he is a pretty boy not me.

I always thought he was a pretty boy, even when he was 80 and his curls and mustache had turned white. The truth is, I just greatly admired him…his writing, harmony, and solo singing! The man had a lot of talent.
