I think having a bunch of spikes around the drone may help protect it. Not real spikes but real enough from the pov of a bird. They won't won't fly into anything that looks sharp.
Crazy idea, but... I’ve painted my drone in aggressive colors-orange and yellow-and it seems to be working! So far, predator birds avoid it, and “normal” birds seem to accept it, barely reacting at all! ❤️

Thanks! You know, I love nature and animals. Forest is my second home... I am so sorry for that bird but I have look around everywhere for about half hour and didnt find any more blood or something. I think he got just small scratch. Once incidently my fingers went to spin Avata props and nothing happen. Just a bit blood and pain. Avata turn off props after 1 sec when get blocked. And Hawk is realy strong! He make few holes in Avata. I will show that in next video. Im sure he is fine now and still hunting ❤
My drone got attacked by a hawk too. He realized at the very last minute it was not an other bird and left. Luckily the drone camera recorded the whole attack.
