I'vd had a BambuLab X1C with AMS since November. It is my first 3D printer and I am absolutely happy with it. I also recommend the AMS. I don't print multiple colors, I use the AMS to stage two spools of like material, when one runs out the other with start feeding. No guessing if you have enough material on your spool.
I also have a Ebois Filament dryer setting to the left. I run TPU and Cardboard spools from there. Once you run a carboard spool in the dryer you will see the dust left behind. This is why Bambu recommends not using cardboard in the AMS.

I love my P1S (upgrade from P1P). ABS is still a challenge to keep dry but it is an amazing appliance level device.
