girl yes! I just used the clay today and NEVER has my hair EVER felt so soft and moisturized. I am sooooo happy! I finished it off with some leave in-conditioner, homemade flaxseed gel and homemade deep conditioning oil. I can't wait to see what will happen in the morning! :-)

I have the exact routine for moisturizing my hair! Same leave-in plus a sealant. I also use this method as my "pre-poo" before washing my hair. It makes your hair so soft and manageable while washing/detangling. Laila, I always recommend your channel to others looking for good tips and funky DIY styles!
That was an awesome tip about putting a plastic cap on after moisturizing so that you can create enough heat to let the product sink in. I have low porosity hair as well so I will definitely be doing that from now on. Hopefully it will increase my retention.

But it didn't take her the 7 yrs to get it that long. She cuts it so many times it's ridiculous. So in actuality maybe took her 2 to 2.5 yrs. If u see her length checks..from wen she started transitioning u will she had this length already.
+Imade wow so have I and mine is only half her length. I know people's hair grow different though. I'm working on getting to her length. Hoping I can be there in the next couple years maybe.

Dry and u stretched ends will usually get the most single strand knots. Avoid these two and you should be fine but first, you should trim.
