Yeah... cleaning the machines really boost the spirit...these machines is really a work of art n love...a properly maintained machine adds on the long run..
As pure suburbanites, my wife and I have really enjoyed learning some about the farm life thanks to you and Grant. Keep it coming! One specific request, if it's not too personal to share we'd appreciate seeing kind of an overview and physical layout of the land you help farm and/or own (perhaps with some drone footage?). It's not clear, at least to us, exactly how it's all laid out and connected - if at all. Again, we love what you're doing and hope you're able to continue feeding the "content beast".
Yeah Laura, I would definitely use Andy's stuff to clean cars, trucks and farm equipment. Dawn soap is so harsh, you strip off the wax and all. Thanks for the content. Best to you, Grant, Dad and Grandpa.
It looks like a great product. One of my uncles used to wax his tractor as well as his combine at the end of the farming year. People thought that he was "crazy". He took care of his equipment maintaining it as well. I was thinking of him as you washed your tractor with AndyClean. Thank you for sharing your day with us. 😊
Looking after you're equipment in any field i think is important. It shows you're professional, you care, you're clean, it looks better and it also serves a purpose for when you ever re-sale, considering farming is all about margins, getting that extra dollar for clean equipment over run down old looking equipment could really help.
You are a great interviewer Laura. Being able to listen your guest seems natural for you. It’s obvious that anyone who encounters you enjoys your company. Lighting up the room seems to be your way.
I drove a semi-truck and we had a soft brush with a long extendable handle to reach the top of the trucks. If you are interested in getting one, I will try to research it for you.
Laura, you have the best attitude! I particularly enjoy the way you and your dad interact. As a dad, and grandpa myself, family is so important. I think if I had to choose another life to live, it would be on a family farm like yours. I’m from the Northeast and lived most of my life in New England, but through my work I’ve traveled and lived in the Midwest. The family centered life on farms really impressed me. I’m sure your dad is pleased to see you and Grant coming along to run the farm and raise the next generation.
My vehicle washing usually goes like this: 1. Pre-rinse using the pressure washer (not the swirly tip!) 2. Lather it up, and wash it with a synthetic chamois. 3. Rinse it using running water - no pressure washer, else you just blow all the goodness of the shampoo off. 4. Dry it using a super absorbent microfiber towel. 5. Clean the insides of the doors, engine bay and boot (or load bin in the case of my truck). Yes, I still don't live in the USA, so a boot it is. 6. Clean the rims, tyres and black trim. 7. Vacuum. 8. Clean the interior, and treat what needs to be treated. I just use a damp cloth to wipe everything down - no special sprays. 9. Clean the windows inside and out. 10. Go for a quick drive around the block to dry the brakes to prevent surface rust.
Small tip, and maybe you already do this. Foam from bottom to top, that way each successive pass doesn't wipe out the last. Rinse top to bottom. Just my two cents. Keep smiling
AndyClean the military truck and power wash it to prep it for fresh camo paint! And then a painting video would be awesome too! New stencil markings and all that. A removable container box set up for camping or a field office would be really cool too I wonder if the dimensions fit to a short shipping container. Anyways cool videos! Cheers from NY State!!
Laura, if you want to use a car wash type brush, instead get one of the window cleaning brushes and the extendable poles. The car wash brushes I've used typically only come with a 5 foot wooden handle. The window washing brushes like Unger have a soft brush on one side and a squeegee on the other and they offer quick change poles that are extendable.
Boars Hair brush is the softest, less likely to scratch. (expensive) Also when time ceramic coat, or Adams gas a Graphene coating that is really great. combination of graphite & ceramic. order on line
Hi Laura, I don't get it... I used to drive a john deere and it was usually the color "Clay" I knew that was green underneath. but we cleaned our tractor like every 3months or so... Be healthy and safe!!!
Loving the 8345r I know that's your favorite tractor they did a great job washing it we love you guys we're praying for Grandpa Kurt and your whole family loving your videos from Martinsville Indiana
Laura I just want to say you are a amazing farm girl I love your content I think it's very interesting please keep going and the soap on the 8345r looks awsome😁👍
This was very interesting for me . Port Burwell On. is about 45 minutes from my hometown of Woodstock On. I've been there many times. We have a big agricultural community in south western Ontario. Another agriculture channel I watch , ( shoutout to Kate's Ag in MT ) also recently posted content ,where she visited Ontario farms. Although I do not farm myself , my mother was a farm girl,so i enjoy the connection and content of these channels. Keep up the great job.
Bless your ever lovin' hearts, you and Grant. It's good seeing the two of you working together! Coming at you from OK. But originally from Oakland, across from SF. Never farmed but learned about electronics (20 yrs) and worked at Intel (22 yrs). Now do research on endtimes. So I'm going to see if I can plant some wheat; starting from ground floor; just a little something to do at 75. Got a little something for you, hopefully. I found a little info, just kinda dropped on me sometime back. Turns out that one of the best things against cancer is dark berries. I go to Walmart and buy black raspberry jelly and make myself a PBJ using it and organic bread and pb. I'm not saying it will do the whole job, just that it will help. Doctors don't like ideas like that but use all that God gives you. Do the research so you know how to use whatever you find. Be blessed.
I keep one in my motor home so I can wash it at the campgrounds. Where I keep it parked all summer. Also used them When I was Washing new Semis for the last 15 years before I retired.
Sounds like a product that may work on school buses. 95% of buses are on gravel roads most of their route and sometimes the chloride they use for dust control is nasty as well as spring mud.
Marriage is about love, trust, respect, understanding, patience and if you following these principles your marriage will last forever. My wife and I have been married 37 years, I proposed at 20 years old and we got married right after we turned 21. To this day we still love each other just like the day I proposed.
I need to get some of this for my car. Also my wife just turned 20 and I just turned 21 when we got married. We also had both of our bio kids ( we adopted a few more after) before she was 25
Love the soap!! Wish you could get it here in the UK!! Like Andy said, people freak out when you say a broom, i did when someone first told me do do this, BUT, the same people would have no problem putting their car through a car wash.. That is BIG mechanical brooms!! Love the soapy suds gun thing. What they called?? Will try to get one here [in the uk]
Laura, you probably have answered this many times but is the yellow tape on the tractor step hand rails for a better grip? If so, where did you source that? Thanks
Tractor looks great! I have a question about applying the soap. I noticed you were using some sort of bottle attached to the end of the pressure washer wand. Can it be applied by just using the chemical injector thru the pressure washer or would you have to use one of those bottles you were using for it to work properly?
I was surprised to see Arpad Pasztor making a connection in Nebraska. He was a little ahead of me in school (Annandale High School, Tillsonburg, Ontario). His brother, Bill, was a classmate of mine. One Christmas assembly, Arpad had a key role in playing a prank on a new teacher, Mr. Donaldson. A student on stage was dressed up as a swami - a mystic who had extraordinary powers of perception. An assisting student called Arpad up on stage from the audience. The swami was going to try to guess his weight. Arpad was blindfolded and the assistant requested complete silence from the audience so the swami could concentrate. The mystic ran his hands up and down in the air either side of Arpad and had him sit down on a chair and stand up again a number of times - all very mysterious. Finally the swami’s pronouncement came: “175 pounds”. “That’s right,” Arpad confirmed. Of course, we all thought it was rigged. So they called Mr. Donaldson up on stage and blindfolded him. The swami began his strange ritual, the assistant again insisting on complete silence from the audience. They had the teacher sit down and stand up a number of times. At one point while he was standing, the chair was quietly removed from behind him and replaced with a tub of water which received him the next time he was asked to sit down. The audience, struggling to be silent to that point, roared with laughter. The culprit students took off from the stage, the soaked teacher chasing them.
No price on the soap? I just checked and the closest place near me that has it is a JD dealership that's 200+ miles away and still no pricing unless I call! Oh well. Looks like a really good product.
Yeah... cleaning the machines really boost the spirit...these machines is really a work of art n love...a properly maintained machine adds on the long run..

Laura & Grant I'm new too your channel I loving what you guys do around the farm and also helping your dad keep up the good work respect from Ireland.
Yeah Laura, I would definitely use Andy's stuff to clean cars, trucks and farm equipment. Dawn soap is so harsh, you strip off the wax and all. Thanks for the content. Best to you, Grant, Dad and Grandpa.
Really enjoyed Laura interviewing and interacting with the soap people. Kinda got to see a new side of you.

Love the way the machine shines after a thorough washing
You are a great interviewer Laura. Being able to listen your guest seems natural for you. It’s obvious that anyone who encounters you enjoys your company. Lighting up the room seems to be your way.
I can't say I blame those two travelling that distance just to see Laura, I would.
You have no excuse now for not having a clean car or tractor.
I drove a semi-truck and we had a soft brush with a long extendable handle to reach the top of the trucks. If you are interested in getting one, I will try to research it for you.
Love The Discussion With Andy And His Dad That Was Great Information!! And I Just Love Tagging Along!!
Keep Smiling On!! 😊👊👍
I saw you at silver daller city

I think Grant is awesome too he is a funny guy

Laura seems so genuine and kind.
Just watched your dads channel and your mom and him make such a cute couple. I see now where you get your personality from.
Best video so far. Love a clean green tractor.
Get a truck wash brush. It goes on a broom stick and is nice and soft no marks on anything, Most have a rubber bumper around the brush head.
Small tip, and maybe you already do this. Foam from bottom to top, that way each successive pass doesn't wipe out the last. Rinse top to bottom. Just my two cents. Keep smiling
Oh boy...scrubby dubb dubb!!! All clean!!
Hehehe!!

RV dealers usually have soft wash brushes and handles in stock. for using on $100k- $1millon motor homes.
I keep one in my motor home so I can wash it at the campgrounds. Where I keep it parked all summer. Also used them When I was Washing new Semis for the last 15 years before I retired.

Loving the videos from New Zealand Laura and Grant. We are about to harvest corn in two weeks 😋
Nice leather jacket Laura.
Nothing does it like a clean machine. The neighbors will think you just bought new machines showing off the clean.
Laura, that 8345 R is beautiful. Hope you have plenty of sunny days to show her off. Thanks for Sharing!
Surprised to see you washing in the shop? Do you have floor drains in there?
Duhhh.....?
Laura, you probably have answered this many times but is the yellow tape on the tractor step hand rails for a better grip? If so, where did you source that? Thanks
It's in an earlier video. Dad had some left over from another job & put the remaing on Laura's tractor.

Can it be applied by just using the chemical injector thru the pressure washer or would you have to use one of those bottles you were using for it to work properly?
Yah. Buddy Ontario I'm from Ontario !!!!!
what an honor it is for them to meet you. I can only watch and see you on youtube☹
