Seem like the use of Gemini for coding assistant requires GCP?? Would love to see some soft of process where i can integrate this with my vscode ide, similar to how I am using github copilot.
You can. When you set up the extension it ask for a Google account and a GCP project, but your codebase doesn't need to be related. It's a bit cumbersome but it works.
