I honestly would love if they named it “Super Nintendo Switch” for the Switch 2 just for the call back to the SNES. Plus it makes sense since it’s an improved Switch and a successor to it rather than a “revolution”. Also, shortening it to Super Switch or abbreviating it to SNS just sounds nice too.

After seeing all this bad news towards Playstation & Xbox within less than a week, it's great to still hear good news from Nintendo.

Honestly I'm thinking, what if ISN'T a 2nd Switch, and it's a home console that's like 4K60 quality? (Imagine a 4K Mario or Zelda game!)
But if I'm completely wrong, and it IS the Nintendo Switch 2, I'm all here for it! Excited!

I think what's great too is that Nintendo is purposely setting the Switch 2 up the same way they did the Switch. Lesser releases and overall weaker this year(like 2016)...so they can move all the blockbuster titles to the launch year. I don't even feel like that's me being too hype. We haven't seen some big key nintendo titles in an oddly long time (like 3D Mario), and the BEST place to finally show them would be the Switch 2 launch...EXACTLY like how BotW and Mario Odyssey were for Switch 1.

We'll know soon enough if the Switch successor releases this fiscal year or not, because don't they usually have fiscal year projections with investors? So if the projections don't look like they'll be pushing a ton of hardware, then it's safe to assume the Switch successor will release after March 2025. Either way I'm excited to see it revealed this fiscal year!

I think the next Nintendo Console has the potential to be the best one yet. I will admit, I LOVE the Switch, but the Wii is still technically my fav because of it's backward capability with GC games (and some of my fav Nintendo games came from those 2 consoles like Twilight Princess, Brawl, and Super Paper Mario). Seeing how we're still getting new games on the Switch, it be crazy if the new console didn't have that.
I am with you about MP4. I am no Metroid Fan, but I do think Metroid fans need word of it since it's really the next huge title that's yet to be released and it be a perfect game to launch when the new console comes out, just like Breath of the Wild was when Switch was launched.

I believe like the first family of Nintendo switches there will be a separate event around Summer Games Festivals time frame or around Septembers Tokyo Game Show but they also want people to buy the last couple of Nintendo switch games and consoles before the end of the fiscal year in March.

Monolith soft's next game is gonna look insanely good if they have been working with Wii u and switch hardware, imagine what monolith soft can do with the next switch being rumored to be as powerful or more powerful than a PS4 pro. Plus with square enix going full third party and no longer going exclusive to a single console. We could get Final fantasy XVI and final fantasy 7 rebirth on next switch. Sure the next switch probably won't have 10 terafarts, 16GB of ram, and Playstations ULTRA FAST NVME THAT IS ONLY EXCLUSIVE TO THE PS5, but I think it can probably run those games pretty well if it's gonna be using DLSS 3. Also maybe Final fantasy XIV too on a nintendo console after it having been out for a decade now, we could get final fantasy XIV on a nintendo console.

Personally I don’t miss E3. I mean I do for the most part cause I grew up with it but for the last few couple of years it was starting to really go downhill and got more cringeworthy as time went on unfortunately. It’s sad to hear but it’s the honest truth.
If I was Nintedo I would call it the "Super Nintendo Switch" but tbh all I really is just backwards compatibility and better specs.

I been in japan heard some from foxconnn rumors and people who work in the factory its super difficult to get this intel cuz they risk there jobs soo not gonna go into too much detail they are littarly mass producing this thing its super nintendo switch and VR thats why they said there two models .But they are not certain on the name its basically another tablet with a vr function u can put the tablet in the glasses case display. The buttons have the color of the snes= sns= super nintendo switch and shoulder buttons are metal new thumbsticks but they look similar to the old one 8 inch screen ( its not oled lol sorry) its decently powerful docked max output is 4k but dlss so its not really 4k (1080p 60fps ) for sure de Dock has a cooler fan and hdmi function and the dlss integrated with the console. Docked its similar in power to a ps4 and xbox series s docked undocked ray tracing and everything but its not like a huge leap against xbox and PlayStation oh and price is potentially $450

From what I read no where does it mention it being a “Switch 2.” The Switch successor just means it’s the next console, why be so hung up on Switch 2?

Next time, provide real genuine information instead of click bait. If anyone did basic research, we knew it was coming last year. The video was super cringe as well.

@HMK a stand-alone console that has no relation to the previous one, like what the N64 was to the snes, preferably I'd like it to not be a hybrid console as well, it'd be great to see nintendo playing with power again, instead of being stuck with limited hardware doing the hybrid thing again.

@user-be3qc7re9o it technically wouldn't be copying, also I don't really care for gaming on the go the way I used to during the Gameboy days, and I rather have a strong home console than a weak hybrid, that way games won't need to be watered down to make them playable and there won't be any excuse for third parties to pass on releasing their games on the console due to limitations.
