I love the sound of a dagger/bayonet being pulled out from the scabbard!
I certainly like these videos and all your videos generally! This is one of my absolute favourite channels.
That is really very kind. Thank you.
Love these unboxing videos! Great pieces!
Fantastic video mr whittmann
Thanks for the time and effort you put into your films. Love them. 👌
Another great video Tom. I love seeing your continued enthusiasm for a hobby you obviously love and are expert on. Not sure if the addiction is the cigar and the bourbon or the hobby itself.😂😂I do know the feeling,😎. More, more, more, always.🇩🇪 I’m guessing you’ll be keeping the last sword.😀👍🏼
Always enjoy the unboxings. Great finds!
Thank you for showing us.
Gran video Señor Tom, muchas gracias!!!!
Dear Sir Wittmann, awesome videos and I thank you for answering my emails about some daggers recently. George from Malta.
You are absolutely welcome, George. Thank you for taking the time to write.
Some beautiful items Tom. That match safe, WOW! Very rare indeed. Thanks for sharing sir.
Congratulations Tom on a great video. Much appreciate your time in doing these, love the wheat sheaf Swastika. ....beautiful
Thank you for sharing Mr.Wittmann
It’s nice to see this things first on the show and after seeing them in unboxing :) have a nice day , hope to see the new unboxing soon
Very interesting. Please keep it going.
Hi sir, intresting video as always; i recognised the first "unknown axis hanger" you shown, it is from an officer of the Croatian free state 1941-1945. I dont know the branch, it depends by the color of the brocade backing. The army ones should be grey, this appears dark green or blue, it might be some branch of Police i suppose.
Thank you very, very much for this information, Mr. Rossi!
Thanks Mr. Wittmann
Love The Videos !!
Love Your Expertise !!
Love these and keep them coming.
Thanks again Tom for the education it's great. god bless
I was so glad I got to meet you at the show, and was able to be in your video. It not only made my day ,but it made my show.
Thank you for agreeing to be in it!
I’m in love with that Imperial Navy Cigarette Case!
The Damascus pattern and that sword is flawless. You will be keeping this when I take it
very nice, thank you!
Wonderful haul. Gotta love the SOS
Great video Mr Wittman. I for one learn a lot from these videos. I could watch them all day. That Hindenburg plate is great. I’ll be looking for it on your website 👍
Hahaha 🤣 “she got tangled with the wrong guy”
Yeah, that’s an understatement.
I think the biggest I've ever heard....lmao
Hey, she lived like a queen for quite a while. Didn't end well, though.
Another great video with three beautiful swords! The mint condition ROON is a beauty, the engraved blue panel NCO from Calvary Regiment 10 needs to be showcased on a pair of sword stands but the Imperial lion head is just 🤩 stunning!! Pre 1914 Imperial swords are the apex of the Solingen sword industry and they don’t always get the appreciation that they deserve. That one is truly a work of art. One or both of the named individuals must have graduated from the Anklam military academy in 1888.
Keep the show and unboxing videos!
,
Thank you very much ! Great video ! Thank you sir !!
Very nice sword of Cavalry Regiment sword .Very interesting video, thank You Mr.Wittmann .
That Sword was really something 👍
AAAAA+
It is very interesting to watch you and box such wonderful items. My father fought with general Patton third infantry. And he brought back two beautiful prayed bayonets with the Knox
Thanks for sharing!
Please keep making these videos !! Great videos sir !! Nice items !!
Another vid so quick thanks
You are spoiling us with multiple videos this week! I'm certainly not complaining though. :)
Wow! what a great surprise! Summer present! Another video!
Yes the unboxing is the best. Real entertainment !
Love the videos!
Sorry to say that but this isn't a war time polish dagger (23:00). This is a post war PRL (Polish People's Republic) period air force dagger. Late 70s or 80s I would say. The original eagle on the grip was somehow removed and the "scared chicken" is re-added to it. Anyway, great video and stuff too. Cheers from Poland.
Outstanding really enjoyed it I especially like the old flag
It's certified confirmed we love these videos Tom, and Robbie? sorry I'm not sure of your name, but I appreciate your work and to the editing person also. I really enjoy the content especially the longer videos the team puts together, thank you for all taking the time to create this!
That's very kind. Tom is on camera and Rob (his son) his filming. The editor has no name. It is kept chained up in the cellar and fed one bucket of fish heads per week.
Love your video tom
That sword is amazing.
Hi Mr. Wittmann, how about a tutorial on upkeep and maintenance of the collectibles? How to take care of the blades, silver polished stuff and cloth? I think this could benefit hundreds of your viewers!
This is a very good idea. Tom has a kind of basic, "old school" attitude towards maintenance (which is no surprise, as he's old) but I have to say it works. There are simple things you can do that will prolong the life of your collection and they would make for a good video. Thank you, thilgu!
Nice"Old School" stylish moviie).Thanks a lot,Sir!
Thanks for sharing & educating along the way! What brand of cigar are you enjoying? Just the right size.
I love the unboxing. I spend the last week plus waiting for the SOS show and that was great. Few days later the unboxing came, the best!!!! Tom can you do a update on the items you bought but needed some research??? I think that would be really cool as an addendum to the SOS.
The research update is a very good idea! There are items that definitely need to be vetted very thoroughly, both to learn the history as well as to be absolutely sure they aren't humped up junk.
Love the unboxing videos
Thank you Sir for sharing your finds, another great insight into the past ,the skill and craftsman ship is second to nothing ,again you take the time to tease us with the GEMS YOUR EAGLE EYE SPOTS,thank you and always love and peace SIR Carl FISHBURN Co Durham,I should of started collecting these instead of motor cycles but hey Joe stay safe and keep them videos going 💂
Kitty photo bomb freaked me out
I love your style 👍👍 don’t change a thing
todo de indudable magnetismo y finura
Saludos 👊
Did you notice that the photo of Hermann Goring on the cigar box has the early style collar patch only used for a small time.
Fabulous
I bet Mr.Wittmann has an incredible personal collection. Has he ever done a video about his personal collection.
Yes, he has shown segments of it from time to time. He has all fabulous stuff, as one would expect.
Love the video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I have learned so much these years watching your videos! Can tell enough i am very thankfull for it! Keep doing your videos! Kenneth from belgium
I like the last sword 🗡 Schöne Dinge keep em coming ole bean
The black and red triangular pin with gold cross rune , is Dutch ,( not recalling the correct Jargon ) pre war Netherlands equivalent of the German SA.. A rare sought after pin ,, even in Europe
Out of the 49 naval blue max award winners I did not see a "Kolbe" listed. " the brave Kolbe for successful or successfully" then the last word is too hard to make out.
It turns out Kolbe won nothing beyond a pair of Iron Crosses, and spent the bulk of his captaincy torpedoing trawlers, steamers, fishing boats, and pleasure craft.
That last sword was absolutely amazing. What would the value of it be?
Exactly! I wish he would toss out ballpark figures on all this stuff. I have no idea what the various daggers are worth but I assume thousand$ ? I have no clue but I feel that last sword could be $75,000.
Tom, we want to see you WEARING the NSKK motorcycle helmet! LOL! Love your vids, thanks.
I'm going to tell him to wear it to the post office.
Are you gonna try one of the cigars ? 🙂
I love the Hindenburg plate.
The badges at 26:00 are "N.S. Students-Union (or Association) Fighting-Aid" (black/white, top one), "N.S. Elders Federation of the german students" (black/white, right one), the golden with the arrow is hard to read, "For service in the L.H." or "For service in the C.H.", don't know if it's an L or a C.
Oh, the text on the goblet around 42:30 "For the Feldwebel (Sergeant) Karl Maim (...) for special merit as commander of the Stormtank (Sturm-Panzerwagen) in the ?Aifuu-Mavrin Castle?Summer 1918" Sorry, couldn't read the Name of the location between the "?" properly, hope I got the rest approximately.
The little fork afterwards is a cake fork, my mother's got some of these, the larger tooth is to part a piece of the cake, then eat it.
The swrod at 47:25 is absolutely stunning, never seen something like that, and in that condition. Brilliant.
That should be your new drinking cup
Like these vids. 👍🏻
Mr. Wittmann, because of you I am now fascinated with this hobby, you’ve done a great service on many levels. If I wanted to purchase my first piece, and get your advice, what’s the best way to reach you? E-mail?
Just wondering if your going to sample one of those cigars??????
They can't be any worse than the ones he smokes now.
hi the sword with the blue is cavalerie 9th division if i saw it right
@@WittmannAntiqueMilitaria absoluut!
Hi Tom, enjoying the "vault video" as always. Strangely, your 29 July update only popped up on my phone today, 1 August. Probably can blame it on COVID. 👍😁
There are intermittent issues with phone browsers not refreshing in a timely manner, mainly because the site itself predates smart phones by many, many years.
@@WittmannAntiqueMilitaria Well, then, the smartphones ain't so smart after all! LOL 👍😜
How much did the motorcycle helmet sell for? I'd be very interested in getting one of these if you still have it.
Amazing sword, thanks Tom and camera man🇦🇺you still haven’t told me what’s in that glass your drinking 🥃
He's drinking Imperial American Whiskey, which as been (IMO correctly) described as, "A cheap, rotgut, bottom shelf booze that drunks love."
Does anyone know what the box of cigars sold for?
Wolfsangel pin is dutch nsb the dutch collaboration in ww2.. its a WA pin the equivalent to the German SA..
What brand cigars do you smoke?
De Nobili cigars, the finest cigar of Scranton, PA.
I’m assuming that the early flag is no longer in your possession?
Hi,can i buy the book?
Just a little up date your match box from Hitler. just seen another one on a web site showing a smoking tray with all the goodies. strange seeing 2 in one day. Thanks again Tom
OMG…one day i will buy an SS dagger from u sir
The Wolfsangel is NSB Dutch SS
Mr Wittmann i am courious...what kind of drink you love to drink in the video?😁
He's drinking Imperial blended whiskey, which has been described as, “A cheap, rotgut, bottom shelf booze that drunks love.”
@@WittmannAntiqueMilitaria Thanks! Love it too!
Superb items I collect German memorabilia but have nothing like what you get, just wow, I’d like to be a millionaire too😀
Hello
The pin you were not sure about with the SS runes and swastika in the middle with the central skull is a representation of the SS Heimwehr Danzig pin badge awarded to members of this short lived regiment.
Unfortunately this one is a fake.
Great video as always.
Thank you, MB. It's been sitting in the "To Be Vetted" pile because I tend to be skeptical of all of these types of pins at this point. I'm sure Tom will not be at all surprised that it is a dud.
Let me know when you are going to go to a world war II collecting thing again and ask one of the people to see if they have any good prices for a German world war II tunic
Grüße aus Leipzig kenne alle ihre Videos 👍👍👍🏆🥇
Бомба 💣
Grüße aus Niederösterreich 😁🎉🎊
What no Lugers or walther pistols ?! 🤷♂️😩
As always fantastic would you ship the diplomatic hangers to the United kingdom. 👍🇬🇧🇺🇸🇬🇧🇺🇸
Everyone just loves the diplo hangers.
Officers Mess Berchdesgaden
Thank you so Much for another great Video .
I will say this in the most polite way I can but the guy filming needs to film what you actually talk about. He is all over the place .
The sword is amazing . Looking forward to next vid . 😀
You're not wrong. It's an unfortunate combination of a mediocre camera, a cameraman who refuses to use a tripod/monopod, and Tom waving things wildly all over the place in a mad rush. I've complained for years, but they do not listen.
That wolfsangel is from the collaborating Dutch NSB (National Socialist Movement)
The wolfsangel pin is from the Netherlands. Weerbaarheidsafdeling WA and a part of the NSB (Nationaal Socialistische Beweging) The Mein Kampf is a so called wedding version and was given to couples at their wedding
This is fantastic information. Thank you!
@@WittmannAntiqueMilitaria you are welcome Mr Wittmann
11:32 Obviously Hitlers Tea Cosy
