I'm shocked every time I read such comments...I've been a fan of this band since late 1989. It was Jon's voice, his charisma and his enthusiasm that made this band great! And since then there have always been arguments with Richie because he felt left behind. He could never really suppress his envy. And there were times and interviews in which he behaved so badly that I would have liked to switch off the TV...anyone who is familiar with the band also knows that Jon already had problems with his voice in the 80s and even had to take medication for it. Just as a hint to all critics: When they wrote songs together, it was always Jon who wrote the lyrics and Richie wrote the melodies, which were often so exhausting and extremely high to sing...and from one day to another he had left the band, during a tour. That was totally selfish and ignorant. And since than he had always tried to throw dirt on Jon in interviews. And there is so much more...
That's exactly how I see it! 👍 Richie may be a good musician, but on that one special day he wasn't a good friend! Suddenly, during a tour, he abandon the others. And by the he way, everybody always knew Richie AND Jon wrote the songs. Why does he talk so much nonsense? I can't comprehend that!? Jon never ever said a single bad word about Richie! I think, Bon Jovi with Phil X is great! And Richie made his revision the day he left...

His affair with Orianthi has been nothing mentioned about
Everybody have hard time in their life so do you.
The "Untold Truth" video is made of a bunch of facts already "Told" on a bunch of interviews.
It's like Rudolph leaving Santa Claus.
I loved Bon Jovi on Ally McBeal.
Yes! Wasn’t he a plumber? So gorgeous on that show!
you have to be almost deaf to not hear Ritchies stamp over all of it.
there would be no bon Jovi without him.
better voice too. ...
shhhh
Bed of roses, blaze of glory, always, dry county,i believe ..all written by jon
@@Darkstarforever1975
And?
Ritchies creativity is all over the songs you mentioned.
" Written by" seems so subjective.
Hey don't get me wrong man, I love Jon.
I my have worded that the wrong way.
Just a great team and for me Ritchie is just as important as Jon .
Maybe not blaze hehe.
Jeff Beck is all over that ha
@@brycepagey888 Lol! Richie is just so over it that he left the band. Jon's voice was so much better in 80's and 90's and he can't match Jon's voice in that era TBH. But nowadays he knows that Jon's is nowhere near the voice he had back in the day so his ego got the better of him and left.
Everything about music that was absolute shit at the time
Richie is full of himself
Sorry to ask, but why was Orianthi not mentioned?
@Goldie_Hawn_Solo Ok, now I understand. Thanks for your answer. 🙂
Love Richie Sambora!!! He made Bon- Jovi !!!!! Hopefully they will sing again...🤞🤞🤞🤞..... ❤❤❤..
I love Bon Jovi!!! Jon's my pretend boyfriend 😂
Amo voces e seus❤ comentario😂
There was no mention of RSO and Orianthi which was surprising
Love the dyed hair
Without Richie, Bon Jovi would have been a one hit wonder. Richie is the best singer and guitarist hands down. He could have lead Bon Jovi without Jon anchovie
thats bullshit...Jon had solo hits ..Richie didn,t..he s a great songwriter, guitarist, singer but not a frontman like Jon...Jon is still selling records and making hits...without Sambora.
Jon and Richie had awesome chemistry as songwriters and performers! I believe if Jon helped Richie all those years ago Richie would still be in bon jovi! Personally I haven’t heard bon Jovian’s new music as I feel that chemistry they had cant be done with another guitarist! 😢
All those magic happened because they worked together. Stop degrading Jon's effort as a songwriter. They both compliment each other nicely.
@@rubenterlouw7746 Richie is a MUCH better songwriter than Jon. The band is awful and the songs since then? Have been awful.
@@dimygi79 i think he did help...RS has bin having problems since 2006..the only one who could help him was himself.
Thongs change scent from one end to the other. Knowledge is power. God bless
Was my favorite band
My dad told me Richie Sambora is a family member of mine by marriage
Actually Richie didn't get lucky as you said. John got lucky when Richie joined the band!!!
He was a woman
Are you all with amnesia??? There would never be Bon Jovi, without Jon's hit song "Runaway"
If only bon jovi considered him as a band mate...all the time all bon jovi members except the main man are hired guns....tsk tsk
So the wife who divorced her husband cuz he was a junkie.. also turns out to be a junkie 🤔
He now talks of being available to go and play with the band if Jon gets his voice back, i wonder why.
There was an interview with RIchie years ago asking him about fame and fortune etc . He said people in the Music Industry attended elite millionaire snuff parties and he only could stomach 2 of them. IF that's true no wonder he was taking all sorts of drug to try to forget
How horrendous! How could he not walk out of even one? So Jon actually goes to those things?!
What’s a “snuff” party?
How would of already over when Richie had no idea and was planning on going to see her for valentines day.
Richie may be a good musician, but on that one special day he wasn't a good friend!
He cheated with Denise Richards.
Bullshit
Sambora hubiese sido un gran kiss
Jon has more skeletons than you could poke a stick at. I've met sambora many times and he's always consistently been a kind hearted guy. Jon is a nasty piece of work.
Is Jon really that bad? How so?
@@christar9527 Jon likes to paint himself as a saint, and majority of his female fan base eat that up, but his infidelities are well known, Jon himself admitting it. The treatment of his contracted employees of his band is also a sore point.
But he looks pretty so he can do no wrong, right?!
Do tell us some stories, please, about why Jon is a nasty piece of work-if you know any.
Not sure I’d call joining Bon Jovi his “lucky break”. Had Richie given himself the chance he’d have been huge as a solo artist. He outshone JBJ in every way
Really? In what way?
Maybe after Jon's voice became awful due to the abusiveness he was doing but way back 80's 90's Richie will never be a match to Jon, never!
He was a Miami Vice detective???
Ritchie left Bon Jovi because Charlie Sheen and Heather Locklear were abusing her. He found out and went straight home . Ritchie then raised Ava til now.
Very great guitarist ,my favorite
My fav!!!

He and Jon imo need one another.

Who "dropped off the twig"?
😂😂😂😂
U ended up saying things are cool between the two from what richie said in an interview in 2016 but right before that you just reported how underappreciated he felt and about jon having a big ego from his 2021 interview. So are they cool now? Judging from the timeline of their interviews dat u messed up it dont look like they are working towards patching things up
Things are not that cool between them.
Di M. Jon handled everything well. He considered the rest of the band. Richie let the band & fans down when he just did not show up for a concert. Very very unprofessional. He could have handled this in a much better manner. Very disgusting on his part. He has lost a lot of respect from a lot of people.
@@cherylcameron8153 Jon turned them into a pop band who didn’t let Richie have enough say in the band’s musician direction. Richie co-wrote a lot of the bands best songs.
@@TheGodYouWishYouKnew it was Jon's band. Not Richie's. He may have co-written some songs but ultimately, it was Jon's band. Richie literally begged to be in the band in the very beginning. The rest of the band covered for Richie several times when he went to rehab. The way he left was inexcusable and unprofessional! Lost all respect for him.
@@cherylcameron8153 Some songs? He co-wrote some songs? He not only co-wrote some of the biggest hits, his backing vocals were key. The guy was tired of being an employee in a pop band so that Jon could make maximum dollars to buy a football team. He was a good soldier for years.
In 2013 my g/f went to an AA meeting to accompany a buddy once and it turned out Richie Sambora was in attendance. Crazy to think I once looked up to the dude as a guitar player then I hear that.
Not that I looked at him differently or less..just crazy as I hadn't known anything about his life by then.*

Saludos!
