The tickets weren’t 300 for a standard ticket, this new term dynamic pricing increased it to that due to the demand , I don’t agree with it either , but all bands turn a blind eye to the business side of things, this isn’t unique to Oasis. But oasis were and always have been my favourite. They’re all the soundtrack to my youth. The roses and happy Mondays , and the inspiral carpets weren’t obviously britpop they were ‘Madchester’ but them and bands from before like joy division, new order, and obviously the smiths set the platform for great British music since the decade or so before. We really are spoiled by great bands and artists in the UK and a lot of them from the north west , I love it.

Oasis were good fun when they first appeared on the scene but the musical cliches and gormless grandiosity got old very quickly . They undeniably had , and still have , a strong appeal for working class British lads , but were incapable of expanding those lads musical and cultural horizons . Not a star but I think Oasis is massively overrated. First two albums were good. After, they just made the same song over and over at different speeds. Nothing new. Nothing original. I thought Dont Believe the Truth was a brilliant album, personally. Dig Out Yer Soul was one that, for me, didn't cut it.
