I completely agree in that he would have never had the affair with Dian or anyone else, assuming that he did have other affairs after her, although personally I doubt he did. Yes, I do think he was never the same and I remember when he was profiled on Biography, it said some close to Bob said when she died, part of him died too. He used to talk about how she would scrutinize him and his performance and I suspect that if she were still alive, she'd have kept him more going straight.
Note Mark used a wireless mic, something Bob refused to use. It wasn't until the Davidson syndie era did a host use a wireless; Drew Carey uses two wireless mics (on tie also).
Bob was very old school and didn't like wireless mics at all. I seem to remember reading somewhere that back at those times, wireless mics had the bad habit of just dropping out for no reason whatsoever and I suppose it was a hassle and a headache that Bob didn't want to deal with so he just stuck with the corded mic.
Is it just me, or does it seem like when Bob was talking about where his wife was born and raised and then after walking back toward the contestants, that just for a moment there, Bob was becoming a bit emotional thinking about his wife?
I know this comment was made earlier and I could agree even more and that the scandals and lawsuits should go away, IT GIVES THE SHOW A BAD NAME WISH TO REMAIN ANONYMOOUS

The show has not been the same without Bob Barker and the Classic models.

Airdate: September 8, 1986
Note how Mark called the announcer "Ron Roddy."
I knew someone was gonna mention that. I'm sure Bob and his Beauties know what Mark meant. It was just a slip of the tongue.
Mark Goodson would've been 98 this year. Wish he was still alive.
You’ll notice the models wearing different colored dresses.
Bob barker u are the man

God Dian looks good for 43! She seems to be into Goodson.I can tell she likes rich, successful men.
$5,000??? even for 1986 that's not a heck of a lot considering how much I'm sure Goodson made off of all his shows.
