I am a huge fan of The Price is Right.
The Patricia Bernard incident and 'Mama!' was my favourite! LOL!
I cannot believe that Bryan guy gave back $5000 and won $10000. That is amazing. What r the odds of that
I remember 1 episode somebody took $500 and on the next punch would have won 10,000. It happens
The dude didn't BEAT the odds, he kicked them in the NUTS.
back in 1981 when she appeared on tpir contestants were more subdued compared to today...she was one of the first to react like that in response to arriving on stage, getting the chance to win a new car, and winning the showcase showdown...
That was a BIG Gamble! I'd kept the 5 grand if it were me. Sometimes it pays to gamble and it paid off for him!
Love These Clips!
It's nice to hear the models talk once in a while.
"If you're scared, get a dog." Gonna start using that one.
Yeah, I wonder if he and Carletta are still happily married
Bob's stunned by Bryan's decision.
Each of them were in the corners too!
THANK you. I have been looking for the $5000/$10000 switch for a while now.
People often mauled Bob in their excitement. Poor guy.
He really had to put the kibosh on it the last few seasons. He was getting older and people were inadvertently hurting him for real. Those old bones can't take that.
Punchboard Bryan! LIKE A BOSS!
That was amazing how Bryan gave up $5,000 and won $10,000.
“Audience, if you’re scared, buy a dog…” BALLER
No one on Earth would give up $5,000 but Bryan did and got $10,000
@Carolina Gaming Syndicate Hmm. Could be fun. Especially on a "big money" episode. Instead of the cards being their base values, they're changed to 5x what they normally would be (including the top prize).
Las Vegas probably tried to contact Bryan after that!
You know, that was a pretty dumb-luck move from Bryan, so much that my mother despised it. That could have easily been $50!
Dorothy Hamill's doppelganger needs a tranquilizer.
It hgappened on January 28, 1996. Two days before Super Bowl XXX.
All I have to say about that amazing Punch a Bunch win is Did you see that?!
This was before Bob had 2 more strokes, AFTER he left TPIR. I cna only hope I look as good as he does after 5 strokes, and 86 years of life.
I sure hope Patricia washed her hands LOL!
Pure dumb luck, I guess. But you have to agree, the man had GUTS!
now THATS dammmmmm ( LUCKY )
Takes a serious amount of balls to give up $5,000
Oh, I can imagine having a contestant give back $5,000 was a first for Bob, too!
I would've taken the money and ran!
no but i remember seeing it on gsn some years back...most of the episodes i taped are from 1988-mid 1991...
Thumbs up if you think the staff got suspicious and reviewed the tape!
AAAAAGHHH! AGGGGH!!!!
Very Lucky indeed and my name is Bryan as well...lol
I'm sure the wife was going to have a stroke in the audience!!
He turned down $5000- *gasp*-and got(drum roll please)-$10,000!!!!! PWNAGE!!
If he was on the DEAL or No DEAL show, I wonder how much he'll give up for $1,000,000.
Oh he and the Banker would have gone at it with each other
I don’t remember the entire 25th anniversary special, but the clip of Yolanda’s wardrobe malfunction had to be in there...right? LOL
Also, these clips PROVE that Barker’s TPiR will always be superior to Carrey’s. Try as it might it can’t hold a candle to Bob.
Yeah, that guy had the guts of a stupid gambler. That $5,000 was way more than the average of the other money amounts on the board back then. There was over a 90% that he would had become the stupidest contestant in Price is Right history for that.
Las Vegas probably tried contacting Brian after that
10.000.00 wow GUTSY move
@nextbarker well he got all of the luck he can get
Didn't Bob give his shirt to a contestant
I always wanted to meet bob.. Not drew =(
@TheJamesgordon43 That's why Stupid Game Show Answers would call it dumb luck. This is the luck part. Game shows are like 99.9 luck, even on a trivia show like Jeopardy! The luck part is you don't know what questions are going to be asked. If you're lucky to know the answer, good for you. If not, oh well.
did Patricia Wash her hands LOL
lol
He just give away the $5,000 and bob had no one had give away $5,000 and then got $10,000
+Hanh Dinh Yeah, he was booed at first, but then, when they saw he won $10,000, they went wild.
Did Patricia wash her hands?!
Do you have that show?
Where was th Vanna white clip?
What was the deal with the girl flipping out on stage? (2:35 to 2:50)
its called sheer luck he coulda won $50
3:10-3:15 that would be me
Does anyone have that full PUNCHBOARD lcip someone had it but took it down
Now on the Punchboard, I wonder if he or any other contestant will give back $10,000 and try to win $25,000.
WTF.! Price is Right back in the day was the shit; they was out of character haha.!!
