I don't understand how these men think they know everything about women's' autonomy and mental illness. Depression and sadness in general aren't always caused by an outside source, like an abusive ex or not being able to find a partner. Sometimes they are caused by insecurities or ones unreachable self-expectations. I'm a fifteen year old girl with depression, are they gonna say it's because I'm a slut and not married or something? btw great video, Vincey! keep it up :)
Like yeah, I used to have depression at a young stage, it was mainly because I didn’t know how to deal with a lot of things, I was constantly having breakdowns and I just felt like I couldn’t do anything, like I was worthless and was only there to mess stuff up. I was getting more unstable as I kept believing this theory. But in reality, I was okay just as I was, my friends didn’t hate me and I was just manipulating myself to beleive I was a terrible kid. After a while, I was diagnosed with ADD (Partly not complete ADD). After beginning the medication and talking out my problems, there was a lot of change. I become more optimistic. I wasn’t constantly blaming myself for small things. I was believing. It was never about lovers. I just needed something and someone to give me a reminder it was all okay. I wasn’t doing anything wrong. I’m a far more relaxed and reserved person than how I was years back. So to all the ‘nice’ guys and gals out there, depression and mental/emotional unstableness is not always associated with romance. Because sometimes, everything is far from what you believe is reality. Maybe you just need a reminder- mental, emotional, spiritual, physical, you name it- to pick you up and help you see the reality of things.

I actually had an old friend who let me move into his apartment with him and his brother for pretty cheap rent, and then a few months in starting hitting on me, and revealed he expected to lose his virginity to me, despite knowing full fucking well I was already in a happy relationship. He then proceeded to regularly make comments like "so that's why you won't date me" when in a casual conversation I mention something like being slightly uncomfortable dating people with a significantly higher income than me, he works security for a hospital, and then when my relationship ended, and I eventually entered into a new one, suddenly he and his brother "didn't want to share a room anymore and were kicking me out". And yeah, he definitely used the term friend zone. Ladies, any man who even uses that term, is a nice guy.

10:28 : so funny (and super ironic) thing about the phrase "I wear my heart on my sleeve" is actually a saying from the Shakespeare play Othello. Iago Hates Othello and pretends to be friends with him. He (being the bad guy) says "I wear my heart on my sleeve" as a lie to convince Othello that "I say what I mean, I don't hide my feelings" when Iago absolutely has a secret agenda and does in fact hide his true motive. 4:13 This post reminded me of a short story. Once there was a little chick, abandoned in the snow. He felt cold and started crying. A cow was walking nearby, so she heard him and shat on him. The chick was surprised, but what the cow did actually kept him warm, so he started chirping happily. A fox walking nearby heard him, so she took him out, cleaned him and ate him. The moral of the story is: not everyone who puts you in deep shit does it for a bad reason, not everyone who takes you out does it for your own good, but most importantly... If you're in deep shit don't let others know.

@3:20 my man has tattoos and goes to clubs AND stays home and watches anime and plays game together with me and my friends. This nice guy has no idea what the words, well rounded personality with many hobbies, means. Honestly none of them do but. Still lol.
I don't know about how it works now, but I know that a lot of soldiers who were/are stand-up family men used to get tattoos anyway. It was a precaution so that their body could be identified if their face was mangled and their dog tags went missing or were taken when they were killed. This was before DNA testing was widespread and before the military took DNA samples from soldiers, so I'm assuming this practice is less necessary nowadays (although I'm not sure if soldiers still get tattoos to help identify their body in the field). My parents have wedding tattoos because they had/have jobs where they work(ed) with their hands and rings are a hazard. There's more than one reason a person would get a tattoo.
@@angygremlin4423 Exactly. And not everyone chooses to have tattoos either...I mean, prisoners of war were forcibly branded and tattooed. Even if we're just talking about getting tats for fun, or to celebrate something, some of my family got them to commemorate their victory against cancer. Some of them to remember my late grandfather by. And some just like having art on their skin. All of those are great reasons to get a tattoo, so I really don't understand the judgement people associate with it. Not all art forms are separate from the human body, and I don't think these guys get that because they seem to hate makeup too.

Do people think I'm a 'nice guy'? I hold the door for women. I hold the door for men too. I hold the door for everyone because I like my peers. I really try to be kind to everyone and not hold grudges. I don't really have enemies, people don't feel uncomfortable around me as far as I can tell, and I'm often there for emotional support. I also don't keep trying after rejection and bounce back quickly. Is it possible people see me as a 'nice guy', or worse, I am one and I'm so delusional I see the world differently to the truth?
+Benjamin Cooper The difference between a nice guy and a 'nice guy' (fake nice guy) lies in the guys intentions. If you are being nice because 'you like your peers' or 'you feel like you should' then you are a nice guy. However if you are only nice because you think you will get something in return, (like sex) then you are a 'nice guy' (also expecting a 'thank you' doesn't count as the latter because that's just basic manners and is easy enough to say).

“You aren’t actually a nice guy, you’re a manipulator” the truth has been spoken!!!
Nice Guys' mothers never once said "No" to them when they were growing up, and it really shows!
Depression isn't a women's mental illness, what do you mean?
@@guts1859 I think they mean, like when a nice guy is talking to a girl with depression, they start blaming the girl for dating buttholes
@@guts1859 that’s not what they said but more than twice as many women than men have depression.
Sometimes depression is also just a chemical imbalance in your brain, that you have absolutely no control of.
2:55. This weird Trump cult worship is so bizarre. He's a guy, that's it. Yes, he a public figure and a politician, but so are lots of other ppl. And this idolatry of him is so alarming. It's like these guys think they're going to be like him someday. Um. No. And are they going to keep worshipping him after he leaves office and resumes private life? Omg. It's so baffling.
I do agree with the strange worship thing. It is strange. But many see both sides of the political spectrum and then make their own decisions
The thing is most presidents stop the rallies once the election is over, Trump is the only one (that I know of), who has continued with the rallies through his term as president.
@Christina Williams keep feeding off Rachel madcow xD. Hes done alot for this country and youre too blind to see it. Thanks to him I'm not being fined for not being able to afford "affordable " healthcare. You crazy bat xD

I’m astounded at these guys. They throw a tantrum because women don’t behave in a manner they want. I feel so incredibly lucky to be with a man who respects my decisions. That shouldn’t make a person special though. Every person should respect the wishes of others.
These guys are part of the reason I’m scared to date 😅

I believe the friendzone Exists to extend but what most guys see as the friendzone is Imma be nice to this creep so he doesn’t try to kill me
3:34: Aren't those the same guys who gatekeep the shit out of gaming and anime, saying that women "ruin it" and have no business being part of the community? "Why can't I find a cool girl with the same interests as me??! - What, a girl claiming to be a gamer/comic/larp fan??? Can't be, she must be faking it, I will put her to the test and scrutinize her publicly!" The mental gymnastics of that sort never seize to baffle me.
Nice guys exist beyond time, im afraid they will never cease to exist, mateys, if one of you is lucky enough to get your hands on a time machine, fix this problem

After his creepy * post I keep seeing people roleplay in the comments and it great
My mental health has been kinda trash recently, and these videos have really helped me out. They’re always a place I can return to
I actually had an old friend who let me move into his apartment with him and his brother for pretty cheap rent, and then a few months in starting hitting on me, and revealed he expected to lose his virginity to me, despite knowing full fucking well I was already in a happy relationship.
That's horrible, I'm sorry you had to go through that ugliness. Good on you for standing your ground and not being used by those creeps
“This is gonna be a good video”
5mins later: Mom come pick me up I’m scared
If you're going to be nice, just be nice for the sake of it. Don't expect anything out of it because if you do it's being fake nice

Really great to feel this way during social distancing! Thank you, Vincey!!
Just recently had an interaction where a guy only wanted to meet me in private and I said nah bro and he called me a clown and then proceeded to insult me. These are real people and its terrifying.
Probably because he doesn’t care about you and just wants to have sex with you. Nice guy or not majority of dudes don’t actually want to date you lol

I already had a lot of nice guys interactions. I always got the typical "you'll never meet a guy like me blablabla", "if you were together with me, you'd be happy blablabla".... sooo boring and annoying🙄🙄
I'm asexual, aromantic woman. It seems I don't exist according to these nice guys. 😂

As a woman who is a happy feminist, I also apparently don’t exist. (I mean im at least happy in my relationship cant say i am anywhere else though 😢)

Nice Guys are manipulative. I know how it feels when these people just sweet talk you but get mad when you say no.
I've never understood the whole, I'm a nice guy thing, like 'nice' isn't the lowest bar in the world for human interaction
5:17 How scary is that? You treat people like they're normal and they harm you. You treat people with caution and they mock you for being afraid.
I.e. "I wear my heart on my sleeve" was literally a lie meaning the opposite in the play, the same way this nice guy is also using it lol.

I could watch this flying squirrel and listen to his voice and I know I’m gonna be ok
So someone gives you their number, you message them, they reply, and the first thing you do is accuse them of giving you a fake number? How small does your brain have to be to realise that is literally not even possible!

Aggressively nice people... Who accidentally show their insecurities by who they lash out at. Its every second guy on the Internet.

+Benjamin Cooper
The difference between a nice guy and a 'nice guy' (fake nice guy) lies in the guys intentions.
