Land Clearing I Rough grade on boundary road with the CAT 963

This was a tough road to cut into the landscape. This part of our land has multiple steep draws, gulleys, and streams. Some of the original slopes were around 35-45% prior to cutting the road. The road has two culvert crossings over streams. Next phase of this project is a little clean-up of downed debris and a final grade with the dozer. After that we can lay gravel and make this trail a road!

What line blew out?

It was the left side line that goes into the hydraulic drive motor. It’s an older machine and that line just got a little brittle and cracked enough to start leaking.
