- A UPS Driver was shot and killed on the job. It happened around 3 p.m. in Irvine, California. Police are investigating the case, which they have classified as a homicide. “It sounds like based on witnesses, this is his normal route and that area where he was shot was actually where he normally takes his breaks,” Sgt. Karie Davies told KCBS.

This is why DoorDash and other delivery drivers need to be careful in cities with high crime rates. Plus poverty only adds to the issue
The family needs to look into suing ups over why he had to take a "BREAK" there every day in a dangerous spot. UPS never allowed an actual break if they look at the data and gps logs.

The police officer in Riverside took me to jail after being hit with a baseball bat outside McDonald's parking lot and the man had was on probation for robbery. I don't have a criminal background and was in custody for 2 months and then 3 months to get the felonies dropped.

The driver was later identified by police and the coroner as 50-year-old Expedito Cuesta De Leon of Aliso Viejo. The suspect was identified as Rhean Fontanoza of Aliso Viejo.
Police said Friday the two were acquaintances. Authorities also said the incident was not a robbery and the victim might have been targeted.
