Gran Turismo 7 on PS5 ($10 upgrade)

Yeah, I bought the $10 upgrade for PS5 (since I owned the PS4 version physical)
Are the graphics a little better? Yeah sure. But with my eyes the difference from native 1080p to native 4k isn't that huge. The fact the higher detail shadows don't trail off a mere 10 feet in front of your car is the biggest difference I noticed! That was really bad on the PS4 version sometimes. You'd see this solid line where the shadow quality drops off sometimes right beside your car! Don't notice that now. There's also some RT reflections in the replays but honestly that's hardly noticeable most of the time and isn't used in race.
The load times are the biggest improvement overall I'd say. It's literally just a few seconds to load into a race. It almost feels instant after coming from the PS4 version. Even with the SSD in my PS4 it probably took like 20 seconds (30 seconds on a stock base PS4) to load a race. The AI can also be better in the PS5 version plus you have VR support if you want it with PSVR2. So all in all there are a few benefits to the PS5 version other than just the higher resolution.
This was recorded all in the PS5 itself. There's another benefit you can record longer footage with PS5 than you can with PS4. I'm not sure how long but you can start recording and stop recording whenever you want it seems. Will it let you record until your SSD is full? I don't know. The video files are only 1080p and fairly low bitrate. When I tried to import them into Divinci I got audio but no video and when I tried to convert the file in VLC ended up with video with no audio! VLC also did a terrible job at the HDR to SDR conversion as the video was very faded and had almost no color saturation. RUclips and Fb seem to handle these files fine if you just want to upload them without any editing. But keep in mind this is a low bit rate 1080p video with HDR to SDR conversion and is not really representative of a PS5 on your 4k HDR TV!

Pretty good. I lost interest back on PS3 but have followed GT from the first one on PS1. Looks like fun but not sure i'll ever get a ps5. Left off on 6. Looks good though and at least the sounds are better in 7. That always irked me.
