- It's Gr.2 btw still probably going to be op just look at Top speed much higher than most GR.2 Cars! Price is like most Grocp C Prototype kind bit unfair even CLK GTR & F1 GTR price figure much higher than this!
Drive really well a bit understeer when high speed better careful, well soon i make evolution soon later this!

Gran Turismo 2 and 3 had #1 on the 99 Gt one race car. Since Gran Turismo 4 it has #3
Polyphony is doing a pretty good job bringing back the most iconic GT cars to the GT7. I hope to see some "deep cuts" too like the TVR Speed 12, Panoz Esperante GTR-1, Lister Storm, Lotus GT1, Bentley Speed 8, etc.
GT-One have my best childhood memories 😢 i really miss Gran Turismo and Gran Turismo 2 days...

Give this car a Gr.1 Category, Polyphony. Its top speed is matched by the Group C cars in this game.

@@Steventhe2nd Very true. This happened to the Mercedes-Benz CLK-LM '98 and the BMW McLaren F1 GTR Race Car '97, both are GT1 and are classified as Gr.2. The GT-One is an LMGTP (Le Mans Grand Touring Prototype)
@@ThunderealGamingtrue. But in 1999, for the 24h race, the Gt-One was restricted to arround 630 horsepower. Stock ingame its arround 775hp. With that in mind and a more or less realistic bop in gt7, it makes sense to be in Gr.2 in my opinion.
@@loudspeed2562Its faster than most Group C cars. It has similar pace to the Mercedes C11 and its a lot quicker than the 787B
@@theiceman7590 this is true. It would be great polyhony would overthink the classes again. Also the clk lm was way faster in qualifying back in 1998 then the 787b was in 1991.

Great to see this old favorite return! Also, it has the accurately depicted Esso Ultron sponsorships for all regions of the game, not just outside the U.S. (where it had Exxon Superflo sponsorships in previous GT titles due to licensing issues).
ESSO Ultraflo Supra hopefully also returning in GT7.

Hi from France ! Instead of saying "le Mans de la Sarthe" you can say "le circuit du Mans dans la Sarthe". Or "circuit du Mans" circuit means race track- La Sarthe is the region where the track is. Subbed of course
I wonder will the Toyota GT One along with the Mercedes CLK GTR and the BMW McLaren F1 GTR move to like Gr 1 in GT8 cos ideally that’s where they should be in my point of view.

I love the GT-ONE so much and im glad is back... But here's the thing I don't like. Gr.2 class. It feels better if it battles the 787B, Sauber Merceeds, XJR-9 and R92CP, just like how GT4-GT6 did. THIS feels wrong

GT4 gave you 1 million credits for doing 24 hours well this is 10 laps and you’re saying you should get 1 million credits GT5 didn’t even give you 1 million credits for winning the Le Mans 24 I’m sorry but 400,000 seems fair to me even if GT7 economy is terrible

@@shakengandulf I did and it was a lot of fun. I had a intense battle with the Ai that was using the GT one as well. He made a surprised dive bomb with caught me off guard on lap 6. Then i recomposed myself and chased him down with the help of slipstream. Then entering the very fast right hander into the left hander after the third straight He was blocked by the McLaren f1 GTR ahead slowing him down. I saw the gap on the outside and went for it. From there, he never bothered me again

@@shakengandulf yes but it was so light it didn’t affect the grip or anything but for you it might be different. So make sure you have your rain tires ready just in case

I find it so amusing how GT7 includes menu musics from the previous GT games.
Wish it also included "Jungle Fire" from Yu Serizawa and Motsu while racing against a field of LMP1 cars at LeMans in GT7.

The GT-One was designed as a GT1 car before they later developed it as a Le Mans prototype.
Late 90s GT1. That's all.
Current GT500 cars are faster than late 90s/early 2000s LMPs. A Nissan Z GT500 should be able to beat a Bentley Speed 8 in a race.
