My wife and sister in law were the first in the meet and greet line. My wife, such a huge fan, when they let her through, ran up to Laura and gave her a big hug. Now most of us might be a little taken aback by that but Laura totally leaned into the hug with real sincerity. It is this genuine, kind spirt that both Aaron and Laura have so much of that makes their amazing success so well deserved.
Wow-sometimes we all forget that you guys are “celebrities” and well known all over! To most of us, you’re just Laura & Aaron-the kids who garden and make videos to teach us, like folks we know from Church or other events. Does it ever make you stop and go, “wait…what?” when folks from all over the world know you? It’s really cool to see you handle it all with grace and integrity-keeping your family grounded and secure. You are blessed! (🌷And so are we-THANKS!)
Aww as I’m reading your comments tears are streaming down my face. I feel the same way, Laura and Aaron are so nice and are truly special people. I thank the Lord for accidentally stumbling upon them as I was scrolling on IG. My first introduction to Laura was at Christmas time when she gave a house tour at midnight after she had just hosted a party at her home. Benjamin was so little then. I was hooked from then on. God Bless you for sharing your sweet story.
My sister and I were lucky enough to meet you and Aaron at the meet and greet! Thank you both for the much needed positive energy that you offer to everyone!
These companies and their employees did a phenomenal job setting up all these gardens. WOW. All of their planning & hardwork paid off. Absolutely stunning displays!! 🌊🌷🌷🌷💗
Watching the end and seeing how excited people were to see you warmed my heart. I hope you realize how important and special you are in people’s lives. I found this channel during Covid and would watch your past videos in between classes and during “office hours”. I just want to thank you for the wonderful content, accepting of all styles, and pure passion for gardening you have. You are a true gem.
And their are a lot of wonderful commenters like you…even though I don’t see you, this really is a wonderful community. I love the comment section and I always read after each video. ❤️ from Seattle 😊
It brought tears of happiness for you to my eyes to see those long lines of fans waiting to share their love and smiles with you! I hope you feel how many of us out here appreciate you and what you do on your channel. God bless and sending more hugs from SE Minnesota! Wish I could have gone to the show too but I loved seeing it here on my little laptop! Thank you for all you do.
My FAVORITE part of this whole video was the very end with the meet and greet. I remember back to the little house before you moved. DID you EVER think that Garden Answer would become such a phenom? God is gracious indeed. Thanks for this tour! Everything was so beautiful.
Thank you so much for bringing us along! What inspiration! What a great surprise with my Saturday morning coffee! Almost brought tears to my eyes to see how you guys interact with all the people who came out to see you! You are so genuine and kind. Thanks for all the joy you bring!
Thanks for “taking me” to the Northwest Flower & Garden Show! Unbelievably beautiful! The work and planning to present a show like this unimaginable! 💝
Thank you so much for this video! The meet and greet clip at the end brought tears to my eyes! You are amazing Laura & Erin, and the inspiration you bring to people is life changing. 🥰
Thank you, Laura and Aron!!!! For taking the time and effort to share SO MUCH with those of us who love to Garden, and are LEARNING to Garden! Also, for sharing your lives and your family with us! I found myself tearing up at the end of this one. So EXCITED to see, and for you two to see, just a FRACTION of so many people whose lives are affected in the VERY BEST of WAYS by your LOVE for one another, your families and your passion for all God’s BEAUTIFUL and WONDROUS creations! ♥️✝️♥️☀️🌱🌼🌸❤️
It was worth the 2hr 5 minute wait in line to meet you and get the warmest hug this winter!! I have always loved and continue to love, looking at other peoples flowers and gardens and dreaming of "maybe one day, I can do this". Then I found your RUclips channel and the dream started to become reality. After years of watching you, 2020 was a game changer for me. With time available due to the Covid pandemic and that "I can do this" attitude, I planted 250 tulip/daffodil bulbs, and other plants. The response from neighbors were positively the best!! I would cut a dozen tulips/daffs and hand it out to anyone walking by or stopping their car to have a look. 2021, I increased the bulb plantings to 500 and now I await my 2022 planting of 1000 additional bulbs!! The most memorable moment was during Covid, a car stopped in front of my house and when I asked if they were lost and needed directions, the driver said "no, I'm taking my mom on a drive to look at the beautiful flowers". I told them to wait a few seconds. I cut a bunch of tulips and handed it to them when the driver said " tomorrow is my mom's (the passenger) 90th birthday and you just made her day" With tears in all our eyes I hugged her mom and wished her the best of birthdays. As they drove off, I thanked the Lord for blessing me with Laura from Garden Answer!! Thank you for sharing & being an inspiration to many of us. Love you much!
Oh Laura! How fun to join you and Aaron at the garden show virtually! The putting greens inspired me to ask if you are now inspired to make a secret little mini golf course for your family. You are so creative, I’d love to see what you come up with.
Oh my! Laura and Aaron, how long has your "Want List" become after this spectacular event? Water features, cut-out panels, pergolas, gazebos, and greenhouses galore! The plant combinations in planters, pots and beds were glorious! Thank you for sharing this magical experience!
Not was I so envious of all the people that was there to meet you in person, but I watched the entire video in awe of all the gardens and all of the plants and all the displays. They were just absolutely gorgeous but as the video ended and it showed you meeting people, I actually cried tears of pride and joy, hoping one day this little Indiana girl will get to meet you in person as well someday! When I retired from working outside the home three years ago, I never could believe that someone could inspire me the way that you have. Thank you ever so much for doing that!!
Having Laura take us through this space is really like being there. She matches the enthusiasm we would all have! Lol. I’m obsessed with that waterfall coming into that one greenhouse. How amazing.
Returned home yesterday after spending two days at the flower and garden show! It was so inspiring that I had to immediately go out and shop our local nursery’s- the thrill of the plant hunt. Is real! The highlight by far was joining your fandom to meet you and Aron . Thank you for supporting us here in the PNW.
Breath-taking Beautiful displays! LoVE this video! At the end of the video with the meet and greet - it made me cry like a baby - to see how happy all these GA family members are to meet America's Sweetheart!
Loved the ending, you all are most deserving of fandom! Thanks for bringing peace and creativity into my early morning! (And beautiful things called plants!!😊)
My son and I was so happy we were able to meet you at the show. Did you guys get stressed out and frustrated in Seattle when you were up here? After the show we wanted to go out to eat, but I just white knuckled the steering wheel the whole drive out of Seattle.
Look at all the people in line to meet you! It was like that when you came to the Cleveland garden show. It brought tears to my eyes that you are so famous. I bet you never in a million years thought the road you took several years ago would have brought you to this. What a treat for a Saturday morning.
Oh my, that was a crowd! I know you're more on introvert side of things but you should definitely do this more often, get this attention, well deserved, for all inspiration you give to all of us to grow things, flowers and veggies, even on a small scale, gardening is a work but it's so rewarding, mentally and in every other way!
So wonderful to get to meet you in Seattle! I took a break from work and came down to see you at the show. Spent over an hour waiting in line but it was totally worth it! You and Aaron are so genuine. It was so fun to talk to other fans in line and share gardening stories and our love for Laura and Aaron. Since I had to go back to work I didn't get to spend much more time there so I very much appreciate this tour and getting to see all the little details I didn't get to take in, especially with the lights up. Thanks for all that you do!
Garden show displays are so amazing - creating so many elements in basically a warehouse space is so spectacular - one area out does the next - bravo to all the creators - the sights, smells, sounds - the first time I walked into a garden show I was memorized!! Then the special items from the vendors capture you and you can't go home empty handed👍👏😊❤️Enjoy....
Wow!!! How could you go home without several extra checked bags !!! Fabulous displays - this will be food for inspiration during the spring planting season !
What a magnificent tour Laura! Thank you for sharing this with us 😍💐 The meet and greet at the end of the video, made me tear up a bit! What an impact you have made, and I hope you realize how appreciated you both are, and that sharing your family, your garden, tips and tricks, mean a lot to us 💐🙏🤩
Aww, i wish you'd gone closer to all the bonsai thingies 🤭 Especially the one in the back with pink blooms at 17.44 .. Lovely gardens and I gotta get meself some space to have a greenhouse - wether a hartley or just one made from recycled windows 💚💚💚
Thank you SO much for the tour through the NW Flower & Garden Show. I'm crying at the end of the video & can hardly see to comment having to wipe my eyes so much. I'm from the PNW, my family & I moved to Texas a little over 6 months ago. While I am loving where we live now I'm equally missing "home". The last time I was able to attend the garden show was in 2020, where I met you & Aaron. It was so bittersweet seeing those sights again. So thank you both for taking us on this journey through the show with you. What a gift & treasure to be there with you in spirit. I'm incredibly grateful for all you do to inspire & encourage. God bless your sweet family.
How absolutely wonderful! Thank you so much for making a video of this experience, so we could all share! There was me thinking we would have less videos this week because you were at the garden show and we actually end up getting extra!! Thank you to you and Aaron and to Ken for working extra hard to bring us this, on a Saturday no less! You guys rock!!❤
Oh, I LOVE garden shows like this!! They are so inspirational! Thanks so much for taking us on a tour, Laura! We have the MELBOURNE INTERNATIONAL FLOWER & GARDEN SHOW here in March/April, which is Autumn for us! Autumn is the absolute BEST time to visit Melbourne, Australia; the weather is PERFECT. So much time, effort, and creativity goes into the display gardens!! They also have a hanging basket competition, which gets hundreds of phenomenal entries!
Required Treasures, when I lived in Baltimore, I went to the PHS every year. It was so phenomenal! You could always buy a DVD of all the displays, with proceeds benefiting the Horticultural Society. Worth it, methinks. Unfortunately, like everything else, the show is not quite as magnificent as it used to be. Probably $$$ related. But still at the pinnacle of garden shows, IMHO. Chelsea Flower Show and Kew Gardens are on my bucket list! Why yes, I am an addict and proud of it.
How much fun that was to see you and your subscribers meet at the end! Garden people are wonderful people. It takes a caring person to create and tend to a garden.
4:26 'Shaded from reality' I like the green house being up off the ground. The children would love it. Glamping. You have an excellent start for outdoor dining with that great outdoor fireplace!
I grew up on beautiful Vashon Island. Going to the NW Flower & Garden Festival was one of my favorite things. It’s been years & I couldn’t dream of going with someone like you. Even if it is online. I literally cried when you toured a couple of the gardens. I can’t thank you enough. I’m so excited about spring. Thanks again for the perfect tour especially before the crowds. 💚🥰🌷
Living in Tacoma, I’ve been blessed to be able to see such an amazing show throughout the past years! I don’t take it for granted, that’s for sure. My favorite City Living displays were the same as yours, Coastal French Cottage and The Bievenue one! But all were great! And of course on the big garden displays the Hartley, the recycled greenhouse, the one with the beautiful blue and white China and so many more! Elandan Gardens have such a unique style with their immense trees, rocks and the beauty of nature. You can always tell it’s them. They truly have a signature to their design. And my favorite nursery Christianson’s Nursery booth didn’t disappoint!! Throughout the years, they have created the most beautiful, nostalgic, romantic, vintage, styled Display Gardens. I wish they would have done one this year. I’d love to have a book of their displays from the past!! Hopefully they’ll do a display garden next year. They always give you that warm fuzzy feeling of days gone by! Sorry I didn’t get a chance to make it on the day you visited. Luckily, I got the great opportunity to meet you and Aaron the February just before the Pandemic hit! It was awesome to meet you then. Thank you so much for putting this together and letting us see it without the public. Of course I have pictures but one always miss something with the heavy crowds (of which I’m a part of!🤪), but still and always, so worth seeing!! ❤️❤️❤️
Laura is quickly becoming quite the celebrity! I have been to many of these garden shows and its such a joy to see them in the middle of winter. Thanks for showing this one to us and for everything else you both do Laura and Aaron
WOW! You must be exhausted . When you told us you were going to this garden show, I so wanted to go, but I live here in Wisconsin, so not happening this year. So happy you took us through! I just wanted you to stop so I could just look! All the vendors did an amazing job. I wrote down all the places I want to visit when I visit my daughter in Seattle. Thanks Laura!
Laura and Aaron GOD BLESS you for the gift of this video. I can just guess what it takes to make such an effort for us to see what was going on there!! I love it 🥰
What a fun day! One thing I'm curious. Was Aron a garden and plant lover before he knew you? Or came it when he met you? Sharing same interests with the partner is so much fun! Thank you so much for taking us along!
They started their channel because Aaron wanted to video vlog, editing, etc. He didn’t have anything to tape so Laura became the focus, her love of gardening. She has said that he’s come so far, loving & learning about plants. Such a sweet story 😊
Thanks for letting us viewers get a glimpse of the displays. I think all of your fans are so proud of you for being such a champion for us new gardening fanatics . Also we loved Aaron’s hair do! No ball caps anymore Aaron!
I love your enthusiasm. It feels like I am walking right beside you. And Arron just chillin and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. Thank you for taking me along.
My 6-year-old daughter and I were at the flower and garden show as well. We are so bummed that we didn't get the opportunity to meet you. But it was such a treat to watch your video and see the garden show again on your RUclips channel. 🌻🌷🌸🪻🌿🪷😃🌺
Thank you so so much for taking us along! I’m currently isolated because I’m taking care of my mum that’s battling blood cancer and I can’t meet other people because of her high risk of infections during her treatments. This had me think of fun things for a while and made me feel a little bit less sad. So thank you again! Frida from sweden.
Thank you, thank you for sharing this! When my reservation to Mackinaw Island Flower Show was cancelled, I was sooooo disappointed. This helped lift my spirits. 😀
I remember volunteering to help set up. Literal mountains of dirt/compost being brought in by dump trucks. Heard there was a truck elevator. Every display had to coordinate time with the fork lift etc etc.. such a well organized chaos. When things start to get buttoned up it takes your breath away. Major kudos.
Thank you for the Saturday morning tour of the show. I loved that enormous root. Some architectural structures like that would be really interesting in your garden. ❤ Some year we need to fly out for this show.
This is for Kelly: thank you for being my line buddy! You and your daughters are the sweetest 🥰. I wish I would have asked about your garden space! If you ever read this and want to connect, let me know!
Thank you so much for walking us though the garden show! I live north of Seattle, but just couldn't make it this year. Last time I went was in 2020 and got a picture with you! Love this show!
WOW 😊 ♥ Hello Laura and Aaron what beautiful place love all the flowers the trees just breathtaking ☺ thank you so much for taking the time to share these places with us, God bless you and your family ✝ 🙏 ♥ Oh we live in Schulenburg, Texas I watched your video from 3years ago on 'Growing Citrus Trees in Containers. Yesterday February 19, 2023 we bought two avocados trees lemon tree and tangerine tree so I was so happy to see your video for putting them in containers. Thank you for all your help ♥
My husband and I also attended and I don't remember the Dinner Interrupted display, so cute. Love the angled lines of garden However the hellebores everywhere, so many varieties and the colors were gorgeous! Adding more to my shade garden this year!! I was at the Dahlia booth for a little bit picking out beautiful gifts for friends. It might be a little hard to part with them though. ;) It was a real pleasure to meet both you and Aaron, you both are a sweet as you seem on RUclips. I heard someone in line say with a disapproving tone, "She's hugging everyone! Well, I guess she does have little ones so have been exposed to all kinds of viruses." I say hug away!!! You have inspired the next generation to get out and garden, what a gift.
Thank you so much for coming. It was great to meet you both. I love your enthusiasm for all things plants. Can't wait for Spring and all the things you have planned at your garden to share with us.
My uncle was a stone mason. He built our addition out of the bricks that were used at the Milwaukee Wisconsin home and garden show, it feels like 100 years ago. He also built the “ house” at the home and garden show and when they took it down all of the brick came to our house and we spend many hours chiseling off the mortar so we could reuse the bricks. I don’t know if the presenters at garden shows go through all of that anymore, rehoming plants and products used, but that would be a blessing to be able to reuse some of those plants and things. ❄️💚🙃
You know, I had tears well up in my eyes when I saw that line for your meet and greet. Could you and Aaron have ever imagined this years ago before starting GA? You have brought a wealth of knowledge and most importantly, your kind and genuine personalities. Thank You ❤
Wow my heart was racing after seeing everything. That was all so goregous, one right after a another. Thanks for taking us on the tour. I wish I was there.
did you ever imagine this would be your life when you made those first videos years ago? i think i started watching you from nearly the beginning, and i just get teary-eyed with joy, pride, and love for what you and Aaron have accomplished, and how LOVE goes through everything y'all do: from the basic gardening ideas, to the beauty, to the inspiration, to watching your family grow.. and through all of it, always always ALWAYS so respectful, full of fun, and love... so many fabulous ideas at the show! the inspiration vibes are just growing from a winter's glimmer into full-fledged fire, aren't they??? come on spring!!! 🥰❤thanks for the video!!! 🥰❤
OMG the hellebores are amazing and gorgeous. Everything is so amazing. I think you need 2 extra suitcases.😂 Aron love it he’s just sitting back and getting so many ideas. Yes defending a black Hartley. I wonder if the black colour would fade in the hot sun. Thank you so very much for sharing this with us I’m so jealous. So many ideas. WOW.💯💯💯🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Absolutely beautiful! I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. I loved the colorful stones at the bottom of the pond and all of the greenhouses. Thank you Laura and Aaron. 31:13
I got to go this past weekend with my mom for the first time! We loved it! And even though I have already seen all of these displays, it's SO NICE to see them in the light not surrounded by 50 billion people. Not that I don't like people. I do! But it was VERY crowded and sometimes hard to see or you kinda get pushed along and you can't stop and really examine things like you might want to. So thank you for posting this!!!
So glad you got to give us a tour. I am so sad I could not be there this year and really miss it. Would have loved nothing better than to have met you but not to be. Honestly I have learned more from you over the years than ever becoming a master gardener. We mostly learned how to look things up and where...and...hands on I have learned from you. I began my gardening journey at 15 and now 68 years later, you are still teaching me. God's speed Laura, Aaron, Benjamin, Samantha and the kitties and chickys too. You quiet friend from Everett WA
How absolutely stunning!!! It’s amazing what brilliant minds can do with an absolute blank slate, making all the land contours, the different water elements, and adding the living areas to those spaces… WOW!!! Laura and Aaron that had to have gotten your creative juices going. Thanks for taking us along!
Awwww! So glad to hear! If I was in Washington state I would have done the same thing. They both seem like such great people. They seem real!

well said. Laura’s smile is part of the reason why I enjoy watching her videos.

Yes yes yes. Me too!

Yay! A video on Saturday! Thanks Laura & Aaron! 💜
So envious of everyone that was able to meet the two of you. Such a thrill for them and such a beautiful venue.
I didn’t want to say it but you are absolutely right! I’m so jealous ❤️❤️❤️
Great job Laura! I’ve never been to a garden show so this was quite a treat. Breathtaking displays and such creativity.

I can’t wait for the Philadelphia Garden show to see all the beauty in person.
Thank you for taking us along to the show! This was so fun to see.
4:26 'Shaded from reality' I like the green house being up off the ground. The children would love it. Glamping. You have an excellent start for outdoor dining with that great outdoor fireplace!
That Bay View Garden house would make an adorable little house for Samantha to play in! 😮
That adorable cottage, and its garden with the mossy steps look like an enlarged fairy garden! Just the right size for young children!
Wow! The meet and greet looked amazing. Laura is such an amazing, honest, real, caring person I'm not surprised people want to meet her.
Thank you for the tour!! So beautiful and inspiring!
Gorgeous show, thanks for bringing us along.
Laura is like a small child, so happy and excited. I love it, as I am the same 🥰
How fun! Thank you for bring us along! Love seeing all that they are showing. WOW!!
Only a few minutes in but man, I need one of those greenhouses. Thanks for tour!
Oh my. How precious are you and Aaron. Love this tour ❤
Thank you Laura and Aaron! What a joy to watch.
Hang in there. Best wishes.
🤗
Bless you Frida;
I know how hard this is, I took care of my mom when she was battling cancer. This channel is a good outlet. Sending prayers
The logistics are mind-boggling. Incredible design, hard work, and organization.
What a treat! Thank you for sharing such inspiration on a Saturday Laura and Aaron. This is on my bucket list!
Thank you, thank you for sharing this! When my reservation to Mackinaw Island Flower Show was cancelled, I was sooooo disappointed. This helped lift my spirits. 😀
Thank you for sharing, absolutely delightful!
WOW 😊 ♥ Hello Laura and Aaron what beautiful place love all the flowers the trees just breathtaking ☺ thank you so much for taking the time to share these places with us, God bless you and your family ✝ 🙏 ♥ Oh we live in Schulenburg, Texas
I watched your video from 3years ago on 'Growing Citrus Trees in Containers.
Yesterday February 19, 2023 we bought two avocados trees lemon tree and tangerine tree so I was so happy to see your video for putting them in containers. Thank you for all your help ♥
So fun to have a video on Saturday!! You are amazing!!🎉❤
I love the glass case with the Gardener's history!
Good morning all have a safe and blessed day 🥰
This will be one of those videos I watch over and over. Thanks for taking us along and allowing us to live vicariously through you. 🤩
So beautiful!♡
So is
Thank you so much for coming. It was great to meet you both. I love your enthusiasm for all things plants. Can't wait for Spring and all the things you have planned at your garden to share with us.
Absolutely beautiful displays, thank you for taking us along!🌸💕🌷
My uncle was a stone mason. He built our addition out of the bricks that were used at the Milwaukee Wisconsin home and garden show, it feels like 100 years ago. He also built the “ house” at the home and garden show and when they took it down all of the brick came to our house and we spend many hours chiseling off the mortar so we could reuse the bricks. I don’t know if the presenters at garden shows go through all of that anymore, rehoming plants and products used, but that would be a blessing to be able to reuse some of those plants and things. ❄️💚🙃
Thanks Laura, for the fabulous & inspiring coverage of the show!!! Garden Therapy!! 😍
You know, I had tears well up in my eyes when I saw that line for your meet and greet. Could you and Aaron have ever imagined this years ago before starting GA? You have brought a wealth of knowledge and most importantly, your kind and genuine personalities. Thank You ❤
Thanks for taking us along🌸🌸
That little greenhouse/shed with the pergola would make the cutest playhouse for the kiddos!! Beautiful gardens!
What a treat to walk through the show with you Laura! Your enthusiasm and pointing out details was awesome. Even more excited for Spring.
😂 the guy at the plant farm booth running from the camera😂. I love all of these and they have me itching to get outside in my beds!! 🪴🪴🌷🌹
The Plant Farm is located in Spokane, WA.
@@joemcdaniel6341 on my bucket list!! 😊
Gotta say I’m slightly embarrassed drooling in my coffee -never knew how excited a plant could get me!
Absolutely beautiful! I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. I loved the colorful stones at the bottom of the pond and all of the greenhouses. Thank you Laura and Aaron. 31:13
It really makes a difference when you keep it simple.
Thank you Laura and Erin for giving so generously of your time and knowledge and this wonderfully inspiring tour.
So thank you for posting this!!!
wow i love the support and turnout for you! well deserved, you are an inspiration to all us gardeners.
What a lovely tour--thank you so much for taking us along!
Thanks Laura I would never be able to see a show like that. It's amazing and I enjoyed it. Really made my day.
Oh my! I love the black Hartley!
