she turned the whole place from old and run down into a very trendy place that was up and running again all in less than a month with a low budget making the place look spotless and all whilst taking care of the poor old lady (past owner) in the apartment above the laundromat. she’s a badass and a great owner.

Fiona is a handful, I was not surprised when the owner of the diner fired her. She was all ME ME ME and was just making everything difficult for people who are around her. Yeah she’s hold it down when Monica and Frank kept slacking. She really made some bad choices that end up with her losing the building, her job at the diner, crashing her car, selling drugs , beating up the lady because she didn’t want Liam selling lemonade in front of her house that she brought, getting arrested

I want to argue this is not thinking correctly if you haven't actually issue don't complain resolve it complaining does nothing besides annoy the person responsible and sometimes people around you. And if someone truly got this upset and actually threw food at you You can file for charges and try to take them to court either way you don't need to take your issues online You should resolve them like an actual adult.

I'm sorry, but I'm not gonna make time to get in contact to the manager when half the time the manager probably wouldn't even care. When I go to a restaurant, I go in with expectations and look out for red flags. There's always room for improvements within a companies side.

REAL WHY ARE THEY SO MAD
I have watched so many reality shows like kitchen nightmare, the hotel inspector, bar, rescue, and others, where the owners and employees react just as this woman dead. Instead of taking the actions and feedbacks to heart, and really looking to see if there’s any merit to them, they want to attack the person riding them. I worked in the restaurant industry. The one thing that we learned was that it’s not the customers that you hear from that you have to worry about. It’s the ones that you don’t. You don’t know how many customers that you made Her up their meal or are rude to whatever and they just don’t say anything. But then they go out and they tell their friends to tell their friends who tell their friends. And then you end up with a bad reputation for your establishment. Most people choose to not say anything because I don’t feel like it would do any good. And in a lot of cases when someone does say something, there are no changes. There are no examinations to see if the customer could actually have a valid point. The customers are usually attacked and called Karen’s because I said something. Then it’s videotaped and put on the Internet so people can make fun of them. And then business owners and managers have the gall and the nerve to ask why people don’t come to them and voice their complaints? I just don’t wanna end up on the Internet and be called a Karen for having a legitimate concern or complaint.
Well let's say that these issues were brought to her directly what would she have done? I'm willing to bet she would have had the same little temper tantrum and continue to not fix anything

Honestly, never watched this show. Fiona or whoever is the one in the wrong. Leaving a review doesn’t mean you’re a “coward” or simply “telling the Internet”. An online review is a message for both people who choose to read the reviews, and it’s a message to the business itself. The owner - that is, if they are a good owner and care about their business - has a obligation (and really, a duty) to be reading the online reviews because it reflects the reputation of their business. Ultimately, leaving a review IS (should be) a direct message to the owner/business. There’s nothing cowardly about expressing distaste with an employee, although, she could have been better with her words.
What IS inappropriate, however, is how she deals with receiving critical feedback by creating a confrontational scene. It is a full frontal of lack of maturity. I guess the people watching should be going “wooo go girl!” - but can you imagine cornering every single person who has left a negative comment about you on the Internet and confronting them about it? By being confrontational, she’s not showing confidence in herself, in fact.. she’s showing extreme emotional insecurity.
And, honestly, since it’s something related to her job, I would do her a favor and make sure to send a direct message to her manager about this incident. I would tell them that they harassed me in a public setting about an online review that concerns their business. And hopefully, she gets reprimanded for this behavior. It has nothing to do with being a Karen, it’s just the proper thing that needs to be done, and the owner of the business is going to very much appreciate that you told them about something like this.
