Hi! The copper tape is real copper so it is already conductive. You only need conductive paint if you are trying to form on something that isn’t naturally conductive, but also some metals can’t go in your bath or else it will ruin the bath solution, i think zinc is one of them not sure of others. Hope that helps 😁
