Wow thank you,dear Ruth. 💕💕💕💃
Thank you that was awsome
Thank you for sharing! And thank you VERY MUCH for showing the water quenching process that made the pieces much clearer! It's is not a myth!
Please can you explain a bit more about the water quenching process...
@@suegriessel5639 sure! It has a few benefits! After taking baked polymer clay right out of the oven, you can put the pieces directly into ice water or cold water and with certain brands of translucent/transparent clay, it will clarify them even more and the clarity will remain stable and stay. Also, with some brands of polymer clay when you make smaller pieces or intricate details (or a lot of connection points) it can help strengthen the finished product! There are some videos that attempt to debunk this but this video shows clearly how it works to clarify the pieces they made!
Thank you , dear Adrian😅
@@Orebrey thank you so much for your explanation, much appreciated 🙂
@@suegriessel5639 you're very welcome! Happy crafting!

I’ve have baked my sculpy clay earrings for over three hours on 275 and they are still playable my first time trying

These are beautiful. You make things look so easy, but I know a lot of hard work goes into this. You're so clever. Thank you for another great tutorial. Take care, xx
Thank you so mach for your kind words, Valerie.❤️
Absolutely stunning as always! You are just incredibly creative!
Thank you so much , Joanna ❤️
Beautiful beautiful! Thank you!! Unless I failed to see the reference, where did you purchase the lovely ear wires and findings on those beautiful earrings?
Thank you, Melba. Take a look at the Rosediy store on AliExpress
You are truly fearless in your explorations. This technique, esp. the double black acrylic as a base (!!) for sgraffito/alcohol ink , needs your name attached to it. ( I gasped when you started ripping it to shreds! ) Also the trans over glitter is a genius way to soften any "gaudiness". Lastly, the little twist to create "potato chip" wafers is not seen enough. Not looking like stone to me; somehow reminds me of graphic silkscreen or batik on midnight blue silk. PS I love Arteza's lines; want to explore their new beautiful metallic acrylic paints. All the Best- Liz Roberts aka Gypsy Syntropy from As the Crow Flies
😅 Thank you for your clever comment, Liz
I think few people noticed the technique for sgrafito on polymer clay..
Wow!!!!!
Love these pieces. Where do you get your earring findings? They are so much more elegant than just plain old jump rings. . Love your work. TYFS.
Wow! How long did it take you to design these earrings? Beautiful!
Buenas tardes desde España,
La arcilla se endurece en el agua????
O la cose en el horno????
Muchas Gracias por la explicación…
Buenos tardes,Elisabeth. Arcilla la cose en el horno .
They turned out super cool i must say 🤗
Do u use anything on the cocktail stick before skewering beads on them cause i used wooden skewers to make holes in my beads and then baked it on the skewer, the beads wouldn't come off after baking and when i tried to force it out, the skewer just broke and was still inside the bead 😭
Thank you 🥰
Yes , it happened with my beads one time too , but usually everything is ok. Probably you have to insert your skewer and twirl the stick in the beads. And after baking (still warm) you have to twirl carefully using the pliers and force it easy out.
@@Sundiyday oh, that's a neat trick, i let it cool on the skewer 🤦 thanks for the tips ❤️
May I ask where you got the beautiful gold earring tops from?
I found them on AliExpress
I’m amazed at all the different layers to this project. I would like to know where to buy the gold bead caps with the attached pin to place in the hole. I’ve never seen them before and would love to but some.
what does the dish soap do for the paint? and any sort? why not just use black clay
Is that dishwasher soap you added to the acrylic paint?
Yes 😅
Amazing tutorial! It's always fascinating to see how you achieve these beautiful effects. I just have a question on that finding you put into the teardrop... What are those called? They look like they have an anchor stem to stick into the clay but also a built in cap and stem with loop. I've seen many variations of these but can't seem to locate them because I can't figure out what they're called. I looked at the links you listed but can't seem to find any reference to them. Thank you so much for the video and sharing all you do! ☺️
16x3.5MM 24K Champagne Gold Color Plated Brass Half Pins Caps Half Hole Beads Caps
I found them on Aliexpress in Rosediy store .
Thank you so much for watching my videos.
Where do you get the earring posts
Do you just put them in water to cool them??
Yes
What are the gold things you put at the end of the earing called. Nice work by the way
What was the oil looking stuff you mixed with the black paint. It didn't show that.
It was the dishwasher soap
What was in the plastic bottle that you added to the black paint?
👏👏👏♥️🇧🇷
Where did you get the findings for the tear drop bead?
You put in the water the jewellery when they are still hot?
Yes I do
When I am using translucent clay in my own work, I find that they come out more clear if I cool them very quickly when they are finished baking. I will usually take my pieces out of the oven and immediately drop them into ice water. In the video, you can see the effect; you can watch the top translucent layer clear as it cools, and reveal more of the glitter below.
Why water.
why add it all to water
