Wow! Stunning! Ive not seen this stone in person before and had tobgo look it up because its hard to believe real stones could have such brilliant and varied colors! Great job imitating these!
You are, by far, the most incredible polymer artist I have found. Your tutorials are amazing, as are your creations! I'm so impressed that I am going back to polymer! You've inspired me 😊
Scrap tutorial please!! And thanks for this tutorial...ammolite has always been my favorite stone. I have several pieces of the genuine stone, but you’re right they are EXPENSIVE! And I have to say, this is the only faux ammolite tutorial I’ve found that actually looks like the real thing. I’m SO EXCITED TO TRY THIS!!
Fabulous effect, Samantha! The detail in the video was really nice, too. I really enjoy when you explain not just what you’re doing, but why you’ve chosen to do it a particular way. I often find myself thinking why did she do it that way, so it’s great to hear your reasoning. Thanks, as always, for teaching this old dog some new tricks. 😂💜💜
Hi Samantha you were recommended to me by someone else's work I love. I am so glad she did. Your work is fantastic. I have been glued to you ever since.
Such a gorgeous piece!! I love the Ammolite stone; it has always been one of my favorites, and these truly look exactly like one! Thank you so much for this tutorial Samantha! Very clear and easy to follow instructions as always😊!
Yes, Samantha, I agree these pieces are beautiful, I would like to see how you use the scraps from this tutorial, so will look forward to that if you do one. Well done and thanks for sharing.
Gorgeous! I will try this technique as soon as possible. I must admit, I do like sanding. I used it to produce very clean, defined edges, and also on gain more control of the shape of curved edges. The only drawbacks are the need for a mask, and the cleanup.
I am so very grateful for all the time and effort you put into all of the videos you post, so much good and handy informaton, and you explains everything in a very understandable way that even noobs like me can understand and follow along with :) (I´m Autistic, so I usually have a hard time keeping up, even if I watch the same video several times, so I would classify you as Autistic friendly! you are one of very few here on YT that I can understand right away *I can only speak for myself tho*) I really love and enjoy your art :) So THANK YOU very much for sharing :) ❤️
I don't mind sanding if I don't have many pieces to sand. I don't mind it because I'm a freaky perfectionist and I know how much better things generally are if they're finished nicely. I do love your liquid clay finish
Beautiful technique! I am on a fixed income and appreciate your youtube tutorials! I cannot afford to join your patreon account , and so appreciate what you do share here, Thank you Samantha!
Very nice 👍 And yes would love to see what you do with the scraps👍 I do need to get some silver/gold/copper papers and some alcohol inks soon so I can try these 👍😁
Just such a beautiful tutorial as usual! Before you made the initial first cuts, I loved how the ink looked like a storm system. Definitely gonna try this. Thank you so much for the wonderful tutorial 🥰
Beautifully done, fantastic tutorial! 🙌🙌 I’m one of those weirdos that actually enjoys sanding, I find it calming 🥴🤣 But your liquid clay hack definitely saves some effort!
Never heard of Ammolite before so I had to research real to know faux but wow you're faux matches up to a lot of the real stuff I saw on the internet. Wondering what would happen if you started with silver metallic flakes instead of a sheet? I was also trying to finish a miniature bench and was struggling with mosaic as it is so small. This just might work to give a mosaic affect too. Thanks for stretching my mind and thank you again for a marvelous video.
I love this tutorial. Thank you for sharing. I was wondering, if you wanted to paint the clasp attachment black, could you use the black liquid resin on the metal?
i wish that you had a shop that served the united states that didnt cost so much for the shipping so that i could get some of your cutters and products or i wish someone could represent or sponser you in the united states like in a partnership or something so we can get your products easier. Love the cutters you use in your videos.
Well, I'm new with using the inks and tried this but mine came out looking absolutely nothing like this, lol...I think my inks aren't so great and they basically looked washed away within seconds, especially yellow, orange and light green so I resorted to just making drops of ink..I dabbed with my finger then realizing it turns black or brown when they run into each other, LOL.. So I learned to use a piece of paper to lift the black and brown off, LOL.. Then used a paper towel to dab as I went so the colors at least blended better if the paintbrush didn't work well with my weak colors.. I decided to add pink and peacock and different blue since they showed up better and I ended up with some pretty cool shimmery mermaid colored earrings!!
Hi Jess! Welcome home from your holiday. I certainly hope you did some well-deserved 😎 relaxing and enjoying yourself.... you earn it. Your Ammolite crackle stones are truly stunning! Thanx so much. A quick question... can I place my 2 part resin in the UV lamp?
Great tutorial! Beautiful effect! Would love to see a tutorial showing how to use up the scraps from the Ammolite tutorial. Was wondering if somehow this technique could be adapted to great they black opal from Australia?
Great technique Samantha, I am eager to try this. What kind of UV lamp do you use?? I have the UV nail lamp and I'm not sure if I can cure for half an hour.
Thanks Samantha, another fabulous tutorial. Just wondering - seeing you cure the piece in the oven three times, why couldn't you just do a half hour each the first two times and then finish with the total hour for the final cure?
Hey there! Love your channel! I have a quick question. I can’t seem to find a UV alight in stock made for resin (verses nails). Looking for one with the ability to have longer times like you recommended here. Any recommendations?
Sure. Here's one of the ones I have. www.ebay.com/itm/Professional-Manicure-36W-UV-Nail-Lamp-Gel-Manicure-LED/153982816783?hash=item23da17520f:g:FDgAAOSwSdFe9Bfd
Hi Samantha! I was wondering, could you use a hair dryer for the crackle affect? On low speed, high temp? I haven’t received my heat gun in the mail yet and I REALLY want to try this!
Samantha you talked about different competitions you do on your Facebook group. I’m just wondering is there a file for these or how does one find out about them. I’m on your page all the time and I’ve never seen one. Like the rules, dates, what it is, etc. So I’m just curious if I’ve just missed them or is there a file I can read? Thank You ❤️❤️
how would this technique work if you made an oval shaped doomed cabochon using a mold? Have you tried it? Would like to know before I go out and buy more stuff. Thanks
Wow! Stunning! Ive not seen this stone in person before and had tobgo look it up because its hard to believe real stones could have such brilliant and varied colors! Great job imitating these!
You are a wonderful teacher.
This is beautiful! It has me thinking of stained glass! I'd like to use this technique to make Christmas ornaments!

Absolutely beautiful! Stunning!
Just beautiful. Time consuming but not difficult. Must be a satisfied feeling of accomplishment after they're done.
I like a little bit of sanding, find it relaxing and satisfying. A lot gets boring and makes my hands sore though.
Also these are gorgeous!

Love your videos ! But this one is astonishing ! Keep up the good work .
Love this! I’m going to my clay work station right now to make this!!!
Another great tutorial thank you. I don't know how anyone can afford that UV resin from Lisa Pavelka.
"Grab your finger... well, you can't really grab your finger....." lmbo! I needed that laugh! Thank you for that, Sam ! Great project too! Beautiful.
absolutely gorgeous, I can't wait to try it!
Beautiful work as always!!!!!
Looks like a weather scan before the clay is cut or crackled! Looks like another hurricane is about to hit Florida! Lol

Beautiful as always....out of curiosity, what type of oven do you use, regular kitchen size or a smaller size....

Really great job. You are amazing!

So pretty!

You can play 2 part resin into a UV lamp, but it doesn't speed up the time it takes to cure.
Love this, you always do a wonderful job of explaining things.
Beautiful!!
Please do a tutorial on what to make with the ammolite scraps
Great tutorial! Beautiful effect! Would love to see a tutorial showing how to use up the scraps from the Ammolite tutorial. Was wondering if somehow this technique could be adapted to great they black opal from Australia?
YES great idea, i'd love to see that too
Love those
Great technique Samantha, I am eager to try this. What kind of UV lamp do you use?? I have the UV nail lamp and I'm not sure if I can cure for half an hour.
I just use a generic UV lamp from ebay. You might need to set the time again every 5 minutes.
Is it okay to make a larger one than yours? I have others things I want to make with it. Love the effects. Great tutorial.
Sure. Make it as large as you want.
Beautiful! If I don't have a heat gun, is there any other way to get that crackle effect?
Sadly not I'm afraid.
Thanks Samantha, another fabulous tutorial. Just wondering - seeing you cure the piece in the oven three times, why couldn't you just do a half hour each the first two times and then finish with the total hour for the final cure?
Thanks for the wonderful tutorials you do. I’ve learned so much from you. Can you tell me where you got the cutters for this project.
I sell the cutters right here. www.etsy.com/au/listing/741319955/arrowhead-cutter-set?ga_search_query=arrowhead&ref=shop_items_search_1&frs=1&crt=1

You can use your roller as we'll just don't put to much pressure on it
Awesome can I put polycrylic varnish instead of resin at the end ?
You can, but it won't have anywhere near the same effect.
I like sanding 🙋😂 it's like meditation for me
Gorgeous
Hi Samantha! I was wondering, could you use a hair dryer for the crackle affect? On low speed, high temp? I haven’t received my heat gun in the mail yet and I REALLY want to try this!
You can try, but I don't think it would work.
Nope! Didn’t work!
Sam, would UV resin be ok on top of the alcohol inks?
ty that was awesome
Samantha you talked about different competitions you do on your Facebook group. I’m just wondering is there a file for these or how does one find out about them. I’m on your page all the time and I’ve never seen one. Like the rules, dates, what it is, etc. So I’m just curious if I’ve just missed them or is there a file I can read? Thank You ❤️❤️
I don't have any competitions going on right now, but should have some in the future.
how would this technique work if you made an oval shaped doomed cabochon using a mold? Have you tried it? Would like to know before I go out and buy more stuff. Thanks
I've tried it before and it works alright, but isn't nearly as nice as the flat version.
Beautiful ❤️
