Great montage of your progress! One video I have not seen yet is the DIY stereo fix. I assume you had the same issue I am experiencing with excess waffling noise from the rear speakers, and I am very interested to see what you did in more detail, but I didn't spot this video on your page. LMK what it's titled in the event I just overlooked it.
I'm not a fan of the street hunter wing, and will never put that on my Supra. With that said, it matches perfectly with the black and this setup, and gives it that menacing supercar look. Dope build man, enjoy that beast
I will say this, I think most of the people complaining that this isn’t a true “Toyota” have never driven this car. They look at the interior and just say “it’s a BMW”. But once you get in the car and push that right foot down as far as it can go…that’s when you get it. It all makes sense. Are there issues with car? Yes. The interior is a bit cramped…and it could really use a targa top or sunroof at minimum. But overall, it’s very well designed.
Whips' build is one of my favs, maybe the best I've seen. Sadly, late 2021 and 2022 Supras can't be tuned unless you want to send your ECU off to Russia and pay $$$. They "may" eventually be unlocked, but how long? If the 2023 Nissan Z is unlocked and tunable from the get-go, it'll be Hello Z for ME!!
I'm honestly curious about the steering wheel shifter. How did that connect to the gearbox? Plus are you using a Manual transmission Supra or the Manual mode in an Automatic Supra?
Serious question, how does one handle warranty issues that may come up when heavily modding a car like this? Like let's say there's an issue that is covered under warranty? Or engine dies prematurely due to bad factory bearings etc... Does that just all go out of the window and you're on your own from then on?

If I get my A91 to about the 430hp mark, what recommend size tires would be best to keep the power down and hold traction in autocross you think? Someone from my local car club recommend 265front/295rear on my 19's but wondering if any more would be warranted for more traction? That ain’t bad but personally I ran 275 front and 315 rear on the 21 but at rwd always expect to lose traction but that size works well especially for price just get good tires and you’ll be set
I already have a much faster car, the new model S, but I want a project car in the garage too that I can tune and is a MT. Seriously considering the new MT supra coming out.

Well I’ve watched a bunch of your vids but haven’t heard you speak on this but what’s your opinion on the ZF vs Manual transmission. I just ordered a supra in Phantom on Black but expect (like everyone else) Toyota to announce a manual transmission for 23. My current DD has a DSG which is unreal. I get the nostalgia and “connection” of a manual car but personally have never had a car with the performance of the supra. Cheers
