I've had my A90 Supra since December of 2019. You hit the nail on the head, the B58 and ZF transmission is perfect combination for the car (especially for the MSRP). All the haters and skeptics need to drive the A90/A91 especially a tuned car to form their own opinions. With just a Down Pipe and tune these cars make easy power and are just a hoot to drive. In regards to mods, this is the easiest car I have worked on. Everything is simple and modular, it's like the AR-15 of sports cars.

with rumors pointing at a manual coming, if you were buying the supra again would you go with the automatic or manual?
This is such a beautiful car, I'm not going to lie I fell in the group of haters when it first came out. But with time I can appreciate this car is easily going to become a classic.

Yes. I made the best decision 3 weeks ago & bought the zero 2021 by phone from the dealership in another state before even ever test driving it. One way plane ticket & drove back 13 hrs. And it's TRUE what they say. Videos & pictures doesnt do justice. This thing is absolutely fkn beautiful in real life. Great vid thicc whips🙌

Now seeing your build and how you have been explaining how easy it is to make power, I've become a fan. Great ownership review of your Supra. It's certainly a vehicle that the car community is warming up to with the amount of potential it has at a starting price of $50k. I have the limited edition Refraction Blue A91 Supra and the many years of waiting for the return of the Supra was well worth it.

Love this channel - only found it out the other day when I bought my own f30 328i and it has inspired me to start a build on mine too! Not a huge fan of the New Supra personally (because I loved the Mk4) but never the less the content is still ace. Loved the V8 M3 that was amazing sounding and probably one of my dream cars if I didn't have to drive so much! Glad to see I am not the only one that will get in the car just to go for a drive and a coffee. Definitely a totally different car for me owning the 328i as before that I had a coupe 350Z with some nice mods and a convertible 350z which was stock, a couple of Audi TT and an A5.
Approaching 3 months with my Supra. Had it at the dragon recently on a full stock setup and it performed like a champ. Highly recommend getting one to anyone thinking about purchasing. You won’t regret it.

To be able to use the MHD B58 tune do you need to do anything else to the car and will it work with just a 3.0 Supra ?
I'm having a hard time taking the plunge and selling my SLK55 for one of these but I have a feeling I'll enjoy it a hell of a lot more. I'm holding out for a manual but if the 2023 model doesn't offer it, I have no issue with the ZF 8speed.
If I get a 2022 supra and go with MHD… do I need to get a partial unlock or can I start tuning right when I get it?

I love my Supra. It gets as much stares and questions asked as my gen 1 R8. I modded it and it’s very responsive to the mods. I have everything except the meth and radiators and my car flies. I’m looking at the new Z when it comes out, well The Nismo version anyway😏
I'm completely torn. I have wanted a Supra since they came out but have been looking at the C7 Corvette. i LOVE LOVE LOVE the Targa in the Corvette and have always wanted a Corvette since I was a kid. I can pick up a really low mileage Grand Sport Corvette for about the same money as a new Supra. I know, new vs used, Toyota vs Chevy. I get that. But this would be a second car for me and with the Vette, I can get the Targa top and 7 speed manual. As a second car, in SoCal traffic, the manual would only suck part-time. I know the auto in the Supra is badass too though. I REALLY hope that Toyota announces the 2022 Supra with a Targa or T-tops so that I can make my choice so much easier.
I'm in the market for a new car. I was looking at the new M3 when I stumbled on to the Supra. The Supra seems like value, bang for your buck. I love how it looks as well. I didn't realize that it was BMW made until I started watching your videos. Knowing that makes me even a bigger fan of the car.
Same here. Was gonna get the new m3 comp but with the specs I’m going for, it turns out to be a little over 120k Canadian dollars. That’s really in the Porsche land so I ordered a Porsche cayman gts 4.0 instead. It’s 18 months wait but if I’m really impatient supra is what I’m gonna settle with.
Crazy how covid has changed everything. My friends f80 m3 almost fully loaded was about 88k off the lot.

I love my Supra even with locked ECU currently however, I do have the jb4 on there. I also have an rs3 that runs 10s and the Supra is just more fun playful car. Great video!!!

I just bought my 2021 Supra and it’s been a freaking blast stock but I kinda wanna slap on the magma flow exhaust system on it ..I was wondering since it will do a much way better air flow for the system for it so that my warranty wont be voided I feel like I should be in green light …what do you think brother ?

In my country a Supra mk5 costs 85,000 euro's. Thats 103,450 us Dollars. Europe is crazy. I drive a 440i GC(B58) and i'm really considering the Supra. All your video's make me fall more in love with it.

Are there any crazy built G20 M340is out there? I’m between this and the G20 M340i. Don’t wanna get too crazy with power, 500whp will be fine. But the addition of extra seats will be easier to be a daily car. Kinda trying to make my decision on what to get when I’m done with college. I’ve got a good amount of money saved up for a good down payment on either car. I want a car that can be my one and only car for 2-3 years. I’ll be keeping my N52 E90 but I’ll be restoring the crap out of it, rebuilding the engine, and manual swapping it so it’ll be down for a while when that time comes. So a good daily driver that can make 500whp 480wtq would be super nice for me. Just can’t decide on the Supra or G20 M340i lol
500whp is easy. Run e50 with dp and you’ll be good. M340 shares same setup as Supra

I have a 2022 Supra. Absolutely love the car. I also have a 2019 Audi s5 coupe, same transmission. That ZF is spectacular. Supra is a head turner for sure. Literally every day someone gives me a thumbs up. Very pleased. Mine is also black.
i drive an m2 and honestly considering one next year as my second car. B58 engine just has way more potential power wise than the n55 m2. Noticed that and id like to build it

Car has not needed inspection, since it is new. However, next year I am registering the car in SC. Where inspections are not required. 😁

I wouldn’t, the zf has really grown on me in this car..it’s a great match especially with how fast the car is. The manual would just make things slower, and I want this one to be my fast car. If I want a car to roll gears in, I’m buying an older, more analog, rawish platform. Like an e36 m3. 😉

It's a constant debate battle in my head. To wait for the manual to feel cool and more masculinity or to shift faster at the red light when some dude eggs you on.
I'm more of a driver engagement and reliability guy especially with performance/sports car. I prefer the constantly abusing/hooning even if it's slower.
In today's day and age, I believe cars don't need to be any faster especially at the expense/sacrifice of reliability.
But that's just me and it doesn't sound very enthusiasts at all haha
The supra already has a manual 3.0 version in austria. You in the states just don’t have it yet.. there are A91’s with a manual

Let's Petition Toyota, to create a "GT" Supra with rear seats , along with the "nose" lengthened to 2 and half inches, make the Dash Board into a "Fighter Jet" Dashboard. And change the Chime into, its own Chime.
I'd go for a Supra GT 2+2 in a heartbeat! That's what I will call "similar" to the old Supra. I don't know what Toyota had in mind when they teamed up with BMW to create what looked exactly like a BMW Z4. I'm holding off my retirement hopefully in another year Toyota will have a change of heart. If no change then too bad. They're going to lose my business. I'll be looking for another car with rear seats, regardless how tiny those rear seats are going to be, it's a must for me. The current Supra with short duck tail will discourage many potential buyers, me included.
@@jamesnolan7137 Toyota made the right decision overall however. And the chassis was made by both Toyota and BMW. Therefore, no Toyota, no current generation Z4(the last generation Z4 was killed off by BMW LONG before the collaboration of Toyota and BMW began).
It would had costed alot of funds research and development to make a supra by themselves (the MK4 A80 Supra was also built on co-development). That's one of the reasons why they went for a Inline Engine that was already built by another manufacturer along with having involvement in "bettering " the same inline.
And as mentioned of the MK4 A80 Supra, that wasn't a decent seller.
