I agree, this is the best basic watch casio makes in my opinion. The w96 and the W800 and some others have the year constantly displayed, which is a waste of screen space, if you ask me. The w201 looks good, but doesn't have a timer, which I find to be handy. The old F91 will always be a classic, but is not as functional and durable as the F201.
I prefer it above many other Casio’s in this range. It hasn’t the history of the w-91 and has a different style than it and its many clones, but I do like it’s more rectangular shape and the better and more functional design of the display. I like the plastic pushers as well. It’s top of the pick for me.
another thing which i like about this module is that, when ure holding down the mode button, it automatically changes to the timekeeping mode from any mode u are in. just like the rangeman or any of the newer gshock square module with a "u" in their model code
Sorry to disappoint you but this watch is only Water Resistant (30M), because in any official page by Casio says that this watch is 50M. In the back of the watch only says "water resistant" with no Bar Mark. But with all of the excellent water resistant Casio's reputation, you probably doesn't have any problem to take it to swim. Watching your video I saw this watch with better detail and it isn't ugly as I thought. It has a pretty decent design! Can you change straps on it? Or is it a proprietary strap, like W96-H?

What is so funny to this watch is the battery's life is 10 years but the strap only last less than 1 year. And when you try to buy a new replacemant strap, it will cost you almost the same price of new watch. What a joke.
All these casio watches with rubber bracelet are bs because the rubber bracelet will break in half. The bracelet almost cost the money you have paid for this watch.
So far it’s holding up nicely. Should it break you are probably better off buying a new watch. Alternatively you could throw it on a NATO strap should you have a 18mm NATO strap laying around for example. I wore my F91W on a 18mm NATO sometimes and I quite liked the look.

Casio watches are of the worst quality because most of them fit with 4 bolts in a resin box or plastic those 4 holes are overcome when you change in the second battery and as careful as they do and you can no longer dive it into the water a great decision the Cassios with bolts

Exactly! I like the way the watch is quite small yet easy to operate with its fairly big buttons. The price tag is also super fair in my opinion!

DT stands for dual time. When you travel into a different time zone, you set the DT to the respective time zone and there you go...

Just purchased this. It’s definitely a better alternative to the W96H which does not have a timer. Do you know when this watch was first released?
I still love it alongside the F91, Mission Impossible and G-Shock square. I am not sure when it first came out. Probably late 90s.

You can look for “hourly chime”. I don’t know how to activate it on this watch unfortunately.
At the alarm mode, the first one which shows :00 , press ‘adjust’ once, and label ‘sig’ will shown on bottom right, it will beep every hour👍🏻

Hi. I think holding the Adjust button 2-3 seconds. Keep pressing Mode button till you can change Day and Date. Press Adjust when you are done.
How do you set up the 12 hour/24 hour time?
In the time display mode press the start/stop button (right under) to switch between pm/24 hours.

Worst case scenario, you spent 20-30 dollars on a watch that will last you 5 to 10 years. Not a bad deal, all things considered.
