The Carter's were genuine amazing people. He was president for only 4 years but their legacy spanned much more than that. They gave their lives for public service. Georgia should be proud of their legacy.

Thank you Rosalyn and Jimmy Carter for your service. Sadly, statistically speaking, Jimmy will leave us on this Earth soon. When one spouse passes, so does the next in a year or two when they’ve been together that long. I wish they would not have brought Jimmy from hospice to the funeral because he likely didn’t know what was going on was more of a parade. The pressure put on his body was (IMO) not worth the parade. I hope Jimmy does in peace and is finally not a political pawn. I’d like to know who made the time to honor her and who made an excuse to not attend.
The song "imagine" is an aithiest song written by John Lennon. She deserved better. I met Jimmy before he ran and I found him to be wonderful man. She was a wonderful wife and I remember how the media picked on her back in the day. RIP Mrs Carter!
This happened long ago. I had a friend who sang (beautifully) in a church choir, and a surprise to me, they sang "Imagine." I never mentioned it to him that it seemed strange singing "Imagine no religion." I just assumed nobody ever really thought about the lyrics, or cared.
As much as I love to shit on this mess of a country and its political system, even I got emotional seeing all the First Ladies come together. To see Michelle, Melania, Hillary, and think they sat together nicely to pay their respects for - most likely - a dear friend and woman they look up to… that’s humanity right there. Not politics, that’s just being a nice person.
I can’t help but giggle when at 1:25 when it says “President Biden, and Dr Jill Biden, along with all the First Ladies(Bill Clinton is walking with them). I guess he is a First Lady 😂 I love Bill! RIP FL Carter
Good he's a horrible person just like his Wife. They support a Party that has taken more than 70 million human beings lives. They are worse than that one former German President for being associated with that Party.
