    I’m actually tearing up. I was a grade schooler but I think the Carters are fine people. The 1970’s were great and she was such a lady. God bless her

      @@jeffhampton2767 when I came to US, I was told Jimmy Carter was not a good president. Later on I found out I was brainwashed. Jimmy Carter is the greatest president since Franklin D. Roosevelt. Spend more time to dig American history.

    Most people don't seem to realize how incredibly intelligent she was - and how much she and President Carter were intellectual equals. That's saying something because he is also a brilliant man. But more than that - they were/are both such kind, loving, gentle, and also passionate people in regards to reducing poverty, increasing affordable housing and other important advocacy. A life truly well-lived. Brava, Rosalynn! God speed.

    When my beautiful grandmother died, my grandfather went just under a year later. It’s devastating to a family. I have so much respect for the Carters and so I send my love to them.

    I was a child during the Carter administration. I did not come to the US until my uni years and yet I believe my education gave me a clearer understanding of the era. I volunteered for *Habitat for Humanity* and in the years since attribute that early start to my dedication to philanthropy. President and Mrs Carter were the epitome of altruism and have lived wonderful lives. The world is blessed when people like the Carters walk amongst us.

    I had the pleasure and honour to meet her here when she and Jimmy came to take part in the Jimmy Carter Work Project for Habitat for Humanity. It was the first one held here in Canada. She was so gracious and approachable. Such a beautiful lady.

    Our nation should honor people of decency, service, and integrity like Jimmy and Rosalyn Carter rather than people that are in politics to serve themselves. Rosalyn Carter was a truly remarkable woman who dedicated her life along with her husband to serving others. She was a wonderful first lady, wife, and mother, and her dedication to public service has been a constant thread throughout her adult life. She was a blessing to her family and our nation and will be greatly missed. I extend my deepest sympathy and condolences to President Carter and the Carter family for their loss.     When she was advocating for mental health, the state institutions were deinstitutionalizing thousands of patients who ultimately were released into society with little support resulting in a large increase of homeless. They both were dedicated civil servants and true patriots! ❤️🇺🇸

    Incredibly sad for such a wonderful individual who was part of quiet and devoted political couple that I feel was but a small stepping stone to the REAL work they both accomplished later in life..

Even though I was a young child during Mr Carters presidency I still remember watching u and then President Jimmy Carter on tv alot. I remember the 70s quite well and all of its turmoil. You will never be forgotten as a champion for women's rights and for the plight of people suffering from mental illness. God Bless u and Jimmy Carter. What a love story. Be well in heaven.❤😪

    They are both such shining examples of what public servants during and after their time in the White House should be. Humility and humanity with results. Unfortunately, I do not see President Carter being here much longer now. Too often couples who have had such a long tight relationship follow each other quickly.
