Sifu is by far my favorite game of 2022, and I'm really happy Zanny got to finish it. Just beat Yang yesterday, finally watched this video so long after it uploaded, so satisfying to see Zanny complete the mental and emotional journey of fighting Yang

Never understood that ending. You slaughter all the henchmen only to spare the bosses, as if that's somehow enlightened. I hear there's an even more secret third ending, where you don't play the game at all and everybody lives. Maximum enlightenment.
Nah, he just applies pressure. His combos are quite obvious. Well, that's for the second boss of the game, but, if you're talking about Yang, I have to say, no, he doesn't. He is just a kung fu master
Quick tip for any at the bit just before fighting the tower boss: you are able to kill the enemy instantly with the blade at the planning board and also skip the fighting bit after by jumping down you can also kill the enemy with the pole instantly with the blade by holding down heavy attack
Dodging may be easier when fighting Yang, but if you want the true ending then parrying is a must. Also it effectively cuts the time it takes to fight him in half. Actually, that goes for every fight
Parrying applies pressure, demolishes the opponent's posture and lets you throw counters. Dodging lets you recompose yourself, sometimes misguides the opponents and mostly gives you windows to stun your enemy or start large combos
i LOVE sifu, i think this is one of the only games that 100 percent NEED to be difficult, it makes it so much better. it makes the bosses walls you need to overcome instead of just following a story
on level 4 I went straight god mode, and to my suprise I beat it on my first try and have never been able to even get to the second part of that level ever again.
Alright zanny, there's another ending here and a better way to fight yang, you can min/max the shrine bonuses in each level for more opportunity from parries and making your weapons more reliable, I do also recommend trying to get as low of deaths as possible before the sanctuary to get the bonuses without the risk of losing your mind. Then to get said ending, you have to break each of the boss' stamina twice to get a spare option, hope this comment made it to ya
I think when it came to the bad ending, I'm pretty sure the player doesn't give a crap if they went through so much bullcrap to endure this game. Best game. 10/10. Game of the year. Not a fighting game, but a goodie.

I can't think of a time I wasn't able to just run past every enemy and get to the fog door in DS. Sifu you can't do that, you have to fight them.
