I thought that Rock Island engine looked familiar and I just saw it on Sunday at the Illinois railway museum. It's a shame it's only Semi-Scale as if it was a full scale model, I would be far more interested in it. it's cool to know that I got to see the real one
For those that may not know, D23 is the official fan club of Disney. They had them available for purchase at their most recent expo hopefully they can do a few more sets and cars
I have no interest in going to Comic Con. Even though I'm in the right age demographic , early 30s. I just think it was the wrong move for those Linny The Lion boxcars to be a comic con exclusive only.Lionel should have put them on there website so anyone could buy them. Becaues I think they look cool. I'm sure a lot of other people are thinking and would have thought the same thin.

It might be a contract stipulation with their DC Comics licensing.
