Cell made a showcase on these a couple months ago. Not all of them are there but it explains a bunch. ruclips.net/video/uLz1PV4YBLM/видео.htmlsi=19pjIFjyd54b2kB1
My only confusion is why do all the status buildup spells build up buildup on you? I get why the thorn spells do, they’re literally piercing you, but why the other status spells?
My guess, as someone who uses this mod, is it’s either to discourage spamming status moves, or to help with builds that include self-procing (supported by one fortune(a type of class the mod includes, check the wiki for a better explanation) gives benefits when afflicted by any status effect). This also applies to ashes of war/weapon skills.
My best guess is to discourage spamming statues, the mod changes how many of them work and just about all of them can stack multiple times(I recommend reading the wiki for a more detailed explanation on each of them it’s pretty interesting)
Also it encourages use of specific status resitance talisman use and craftables allowing you go all in. In reforged each bleed proc deals increased % damage. Frostbite can proc multiple times, rot and poison are stronger. So if you wish to go into statuses you simply build yourself to resist that status
2:00 flacid rock sling
The showcase of some of these spells really dont make sense without the descriptions or showing the effects on the enemies
