  • This gnarly '65 Dodge Coronet is powered by a 600+ horsepower crate HEMI V8 and is built in a nod to the legendary A990 Super Stock Hemi muscle car of the '60s. Go Granny Go! Enjoy the ride.

    sad to say my dad died in a coronet back in 67 when i was only 6 months old,back in those days in fallriver mass it wasnt unusual to see freinds draggin each other only my dad was not so lucky wiping out 95 feet of guard rail and ended on a bridge embuckment, i believe he had a 4 door 440 motor and they were heavy cars [the 4 door model] , nice car love the sound!.

    Another 1965 Hellcat. Just add 707hp to add the real feeling of a Hellcat Coronet... beating the knots outta the Superbees.

      Gotcha.
      I’m running flowmasyer 40’s on my barracuda and mine don’t sound as hollow if that makes any sense.
      These ones sound better than mine for sure although wide open throttle I like how mine sound….lol.

    Nice car, and crate Hemi.
    A-990 real or (clone) would have a cross ram intake and a pair of race 770 cfm Holley carbs? Push button shift on dash?

    • @samspace81
      @samspace81  8 лет назад +1

      +borromeo50 I kinda like an old school S&W Column tach, yep decisions decisions! Thanks for the comment

    • @vikingrobot4179
      @vikingrobot4179 Год назад

      Dude, when you’re racing you want that tach in your field of vision for shifting .
      If you turn your head you can follow with your hands ever so slightly and that could mean touching a wall or another car.
