Hi Thomas, My pleasure sharing with you as we're all working on staying positive in this challenging time. Thank you for the encouraging words & glad you're along for the ride, Lou
This car takes me back to my childhood. Charly did a nice job with this car. My family had a 1965 Coronet 500 with a 318 V8 in Ruby Red inside and out. I was an automatic with really neat console in the middle. Thanks for the video Lou!
Hi Randy, Happy to read this one brings back good memories :-) You're welcome, Lou
Lou, chestnut was the color of my 64 Sport Fury. Dodge and Plymouth had some of the best looking cars during the 60's. This one is a great example.
Hi Joe B, Happy to read this color brings back memories of your car :-) Thank you for viewing and sharing, Lou

Love the outside, but when I saw the inside, I was thinking, "too many shades of brown". But then...he opened the hood...and started it up, and I was thinking, "who cares about the interior?" Wow! Now that's a motor! Thanks for the video, Lou.
Hi mitchlu, This car has quite a few areas & angles to enjoy :-) Regarding the video, you're welcome, Lou
Quite a unique roof line!

The icing on the proverbial cake., are THOSE WHEELS! As my dad used to say, "It makes everything kinda bleach together". :-)
Sweet machine. Cool restomod to say the least. Massive Thumbs Up! Charlie is definately in love with his car - and I don't blame him.
Hi ImTheDaveman, High praise for this car & wheels :-) Lou
I would've gone with old school Torque Thrusts myself, but those are some cool wheels also.
Absolutely Love the owner's giddiness, his car is awesome. The sound of those revs was truly mean!!! Mo-pow-ar to ya!!!
Happy to read you enjoy this episode :-)
We owned a 1966 Dodge Coronet 440 with a 318 CI in it. Typical family 4 door sedan, but I loved it! We went everywhere and towed all kinds of campers with that beast. LOL! This ‘65 is a beautiful MOPAR!!
I also owned one just like it.
Those old 318s were such a good engine...
Hi Rusty, Happy to read this car brings back memories of your car :-) Thank you for viewing and sharing, Lou

I use to owm a 1970 Dodge coronet with a 440 magnum I once put it at 107 mph wayyyyy back in the early 80s I had to drop the speed because it was getting to scary to drive that fast but I could've gone faster it had more to offer
Thanks you Lou it sure brought back memories

Thanks tons, Lou! If you ever go to some out door shows, there's one in Pardeeville, Wisc at a park near a lake..hundreds of superb cars. You'd love it.
It's about 1/2 hr north of Madison. Usually it takes place, late summer. Maybe things will be ok, by then.
Hi GTA 5 pc story mode modded game play, Sounds like a good show! When outside if there is music RUclips would say its a copywrite infringement and sometimes kills my audio, so based on the Show Promoter sometimes there is music, and some times there is not, and I go to the ones without music, Lou
@@loucostabile omgosh. i know right? So over the top with the copywrite deal. I'm trying to recall..well, I think if you stray away from the central part of the show, you could get away with doing your gig..it's a fairly spread out area..several acres. maybe you could use a special short range mic.? Hmm. Thnx for the info, be safe out there!
Ahh! Clip on mics! Right on your lapel & that of whomever you're talking to about a car! :D You're welcome!
Hi Lou! Enjoyed this car story! Nice car!

Hi Opera, Thank you for viewing and sharing, Lou
So glad that this beauty wasn't original when he got it, then he made it his own. Really a stock guy, but all is good when not original.

Happy to read you appreciate this car :-) Thank you for viewing and sharing.
1:40 It's stainless steel, Lou :)
3:53 The call that Dodge triangle thingie a "Fratzog".
The more we know! I just learned that this year.
4:26!! Chrysler Power magazine!! I read that in the 90's, i still have a couple of their Tee's..that..sorta still fit :p
Mopar Action magazine is the tops for that ancient format, right now..their tech is beyond amazing.
Well worth the subscr. price.
I wrote them like 10 yrs ago and told them to go RUclips..looks like Lou is smarter! Ahaha!
Thank you for viewing and sharing your knowledge. Everybody sharing helps each other. Nice.
@@loucostabile You're welcome, Lou!
I was born sharing..sometimes I over share, lol. We can appreciate racers with their proprietary cam specs or whatnot..as for us regular folks, yes indeed..sharing is the plan.
Thank you for your kind review. Lou posts some awesome rides.
Tne Chrome at 1.40. Is Actually Crappy anoidized Alum. That was very beat to hell and refinished at VINTAGE auto in watoma wis.
Being a 1 year only body style car.
When you see other 65 Coronets most have all,the holes welded shut. And no molding. Its almost, impossible to find a good set. Moldings around windows and roof is Stainless.,
Very nice
Happy to read you appreciate this car :-) Thank you for viewing and sharing.
Best car owner
Nice :-)
Wow, I am really impressed, that Metallic Copper and dark brown was an excellent choice in my opinion, who did your interior?????

LOL!!!
We had a dodge in the 50s but it didn’t look like that beautiful vehicle.🌻
Happy to read this car brings back memories of your car :-) Thank you for viewing and sharing.
Original or not it's just georgeous..but when he hit the throttle to start it all carbs were working and when he started it the front carb wasn't excelerating like the back 2..look at the vid and watch the front carb but either way it's nice
Thank you for the comments.
As to the carbs. Watch again.
On start up you will see i floor boarded the accelerator to feed a little fuel. .
Then while running. I was feathering the pedal.
What you saw is tje PROGRESSIVE LINKAGE AT WORK.
ONLY THE PRIMARY CENER CAB WAS WORKING. ON THE REAR. YOU SAW TBE SLIDER BAR MOVING NOT THE ACTUAL. CARB LINKAGE. VERY GOOD EYE. AND YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR LOOKING AT.. YOU SCARED ME FOR A SECOND .. .HANG ON WHEN THE 6 PACK,IS KICKED IN .
High praise for the looks of this car :-)
The carbs & intake look cool..but about 1/3 the CFM this engine needs.
450ish CFM & mini air cleaners wouldn't feed a 340, much less a near 500 ci engine.
It's like having a restrictor plate, in effect.
But shhh..im just basking in the glow of this car
Thank you.. your on. The right track.
While i was building the engine, I lost control and built a NASCAR Engine for a NICE CAR.
Thats my Grudge Race 6 pack
Those are the new 97S Stromburg carbs. Total cfm is only 760 on tne 2 Barrel scale.
Equal to approx. 850 to 900. .
Cfm on tbe 4 barrel weight scale. 2 and 4 barrel cfm are. Measured different.
, Buts heres the other truth.
I grudge. Race $$.
I mske a couple passes . as you see it. I pit under cover.
Swap tne intake with,my cross ram Dual quads with 1800 CFM. And. Rin for the big $$$ .
Kinda. Cool old School.
I have to tell ya. With the 6 pack at 3300 4800 and 6000. Rpm. It will rattle your eye teeth . ITS a driver as well, Thanks for watching
Thank you for viewing and sharing your thoughts.
@@charliejohnson4166 Whoah. Dang. That's so cool! Shh..i won't talk! :) Yeah, I'm a died in the wool CFM maniac. I grew up as a driver with my right foot connected to a Carter Thermo-Quad :D Ahh..that sound brings a smile :D My 1st car was a '71 Satellite Sebring Plus with a '74 cop 440. That tough as a Rhino engine lasted my next 2 cars after that..a couple of fabulous C bods. So, your neat Stromburgs are enough for the street and I bet that car must pull like mad! =:0 Cool of you to run the dandy Dodge around as a driver..they like that. ..Race wise, the 1800 CFM...now we're talkin'!!!
More power to you! #Mopar lol
Nice :-)
Awesome I'll take 2
Nice :-)
2 of them you want.
No worries .
You the $$$$ i got the talent.,LoL
6:37...a 490+ ci mill & Redline set at 9 grand?
Scarier than the current viru..oh..too soon, never mind!
Let me help,you out
Great Eyes and ears
Yes its a 440. Bored and stroked to 496C.I.
As to the. 9 grand tach.
No way can it run that RPM.
The tach automatically pegs when tbe power is shut down.
However it is good for 6500 rs.
Thanks for watching .
I see Charlie shared info with you.
@@charliejohnson4166 Hey, Charlie, thanks for the reply! Well, I mean i figured as much..but I like to run with things for humors' sake, you see? :D You could make an engine that big spin that fast..it'd cost a lot of $ though. Think Top Fuel cars. Absurd power for a short few runs before a rebuild. 6,500 R's & this things cubes..that's enough, I am sure!
