I really enjoyed this trailer. It’s something different that we’re not used to seeing. I uploading my reaction this morning! As far as story goes wasn’t much to get off of in this trailer. Hopefully in the next trailer we’ll get more of a storyline trailer.

I’ve been thinking about this for a little bit and from the trailer I think the movie is going to be like this: it starts with Carol Danvers living on a Kree planet thinking that she IS Kree and working with Starforce to fight the Skrulls. We will get a couple battle scenes and then she figures out Skrulls are trying to take over a planet called Earth and she goes there against the orders of her commander to stop them from taking over another planet. I believe in the comic books Ronan wanted planet earth as a battle post so she may be going there to help her “home” planet take it not knowing it’s where she came from. I believe this is why some people are complaining about Brie Larson’s lack of expression in some shots but I think this is due to her playing something who thinks their an alien secretly infiltrating another planet. That whole stoic alien “thinking about taking over your planet” face. We get her chasing down some Skrulls and then running into Nick Fury and Coulson. While on Earth something happens and she remembers who she is and realizes she’s been working for a race that wants to use her REAL home world in their war with no regard for human life. She turns her back on the Kree and that’s when her suit gets changed from Kree green to Blue and Red and she becomes earth’s mightiest hero. I just hope there’s a scene where Coulson is the one to design the new colors and his inspiration is taken from the first superhero- Captain America. from the scenes that look like they may be her remembering her past she seems to be taking a aircraft into space and then a Kree spaceship reveals itself. I think that she decides to try and take them on herself and they crash on earth and this is when she gets her powers. I’m betting it’s going to be revealed that the person manning the spaceship is Mar Vell and he wipes her memory or she loses her memory and he takes her back to his planet because she got some of his DNA. I think he’s going to be a semi-villain but not completely. I think he may hide the fact that she’s not really Kree from the others Starforce members, thus protecting her a little bit. I also think that line at the end where she says you don’t know what I am is going to be directed at someone who thinks she’s Kree and she’s actually saying I’m human and your not taking this planet.
Or I could be completely wrong but I still have faith that it’s going to be a good movie. I also think that the second trailer is going to give us some funny 90s song and a little bit more humor because I seem to remember them saying that this was supposed to be an action comedy with space

I wasn't impressed by the trailer but you explaining her lack of personality due to her being an "alien" makes sense. I hope we see lots great character development like Thor in Ragnarok.

Michael Baker dude that sucks, she’s a support character. I wonder how they will blend her in Avengers? The trailer seems super CGI and I think they will rely heavily on the in the movie rather than her character build up.

I do feel like there was something missing. I was imagining something like Thor Ragnarok. She seems a bit too serious/bored. I'm hoping is just Marvel trying not to spoil too much but still. I know everyone love Black Panther but I felt like it was missing something.
I like Brie Larson as an actress, but she seemed pretty wooden with her monologue. The trailer itself looked ok, but I just hope Brie isn't phoning it in.

I thought the trailer was average, I was expecting more since the pictures were suppose to break the internet and didn't I thought this would and not even close.
A lot of people giving this trailer a free pass because its an MCU project. There was nothing special or noteworthy about this trailer what so ever other how much Larson seems to not enjoy playing the character.

I fear they'll make her OP like Superman and her somehow universal bored look comes from being op ... like Satima (aka one punch man) is bored from being op
... and the end scene didn't bring the message of "power" (which it obviously tried to communicate) across for me and it became a bit cringey

Larson doesn't quite connect in this trailer. A bit underwhelming.
Brie Larson is a complete bore..and it shows in this trailer...every face she makes in this trailer is blank like she's not into it...stone face..very disappointed
