I cried so much I remember like it was only yesterday I was 17 Never forgotten this nor ever will Somthing happend while he was performing this The whole place was filled with emotions even numan lost it slightly Hit the place all very hard The oncor was so long after this the crowd was going mad as I was Its coming up to 39 yrs my dvd will be on the anniversary My god crying again Just nobody will ever understand the emotion of that night It Truely was electric Love you numan always xx Thank you for everything you do
"So this is love"...............its so true, ive loved this man all my life, since I was a lil girl and im now 50. This song and video gives me goosebumps
the press were so mean to him but now Numanoids are probably growing in numbers that means we will alwas love him no matter what they say we all love you gary
Good job on winning him over! Thank you mate! You were part of the fact that I have been able to see him live! Due to my age (22), I am very happy i have been able to see him live!
I remember bunking off school , catching the train to Wembley when the tickets went on sale getting grounded , then catching a coach on the night of farewell concert, getting home at 3am then grounded again !!But it was worth it just to be there!!
During the end of the song, you can see the moment when it finally hit him "This is the last time I will ever see or hear something like this... Have I done the right thing?" And right at the end of the song you can see the look of regret in his face, Really a powerful moment
Tell you here n now everybody saw somthing that night in Wembley arena emotions were running wild it Truely was a emotionless charged Il never forget that final night ever xx
I saw an interview where he described this very thing; he said after the show, after the crowd was gone, and the lights were up, he walked back out onto the stage and sat on the edge, looking out over the empty stadium. The roar of the crowd and the pounding of the music were gone now, and he realized..... "I've just made a terrible mistake".
Was this indeed the very last song he performed in his "robotic" era? If so, it's not surprising- the man looks emotionally gutted toward the end of it.
Ive always thought that this track as good as it is would have been better or benefited with some drums on the synth solo part. I wonder if was every considered 🤔
That would have been brilliant. It would have been brilliant if he recreated Ancients Absolution The Joy Circuit Torn Dead Sun Rising with the Skaparis Orchestra.
This HAS to be the best version of this song.
Goosebumps EVERY time. Will never grow old. Pure, unadulterated class.
Such a beautiful song. Tears....
Reminds me of another great Numan song - This Is Love. I've still got the 45.
For him he was saying god bye you can see and here his feelings xx love you gaz long time man
Numan never gets the credit he deserves for his music, pure magic.

The most beautiful of his "slow ones"!! I was there and it was about this point where he decided he couldn't give up live shows :-)
Good job on winning him over! Thank you mate! You were part of the fact that I have been able to see him live! Due to my age (22), I am very happy i have been able to see him live!

Timeless. *I heard this for the first time in 2020 * Better late than never I guess.
I was there. My 16th birthday. April 28th 1981.
Review after all these years wonderful work to all members of the band truly amazing
Still brings a tear to the eye 41 years later....
and the vile journalism failed and he has come back stronger ... Obi Won G Numan
This for me is the best song numan has made, just wish I could have been there to hear it being played.
During the end of the song, you can see the moment when it finally hit him "This is the last time I will ever see or hear something like this... Have I done the right thing?" And right at the end of the song you can see the look of regret in his face, Really a powerful moment
Now roll on to today. Hes back and proven everyone wrong.
Tell you here n now everybody saw somthing that night in Wembley arena emotions were running wild it Truely was a emotionless charged
Il never forget that final night ever xx

Absolutely Fabulous.
I always get goosebumps everytime i hear this, thank you for sharing, kindest regards, Joanne 🐺
I understand Gary's mind. He takes you somewhere deep inside of your subconscious, his compositions crawl under your skin.
Ooh Goosebumps "I'll miss you" - glad he came back.
Cada vez q la escucho no puedo evitar la emocion
Me sobrecoge y le transporta a mis solitarias noches de adolescencia

🖤.

Why he didn't do this whilst performing with the Skaparis Orchestra I will never understand
That would have been brilliant.
It would have been brilliant if he recreated
Ancients
Absolution
The Joy Circuit
Torn
Dead Sun Rising
with the Skaparis Orchestra.
Prince should have covered this..
The moment he knew he'd made a mistake. ruclips.net/video/S0BX3wvnpoI/видео.html 💔
@lancegfoin9117 Hello, I can't get the link to work. Is there any chance you could do it again, kindest regards, Joanne 🐺
Keyboard player looks like Michael Myers.
