Lya's just so pretty that I dont know where to look at.. the french words I need to learn or her face? 😂
I'm between laughing and adoring her cute france accent and her pretty face! New role model, eek!
I am "addicted" to Lya's videos. They are simple and teach what you need to know.
Note to self: learn french only from someone who speaks english with a french accent
lol
Absolument❤️ - and as I always say, learn to cook from someone who isn't skin and bones 😇😁
@@originalhazelgreene hahahahha, Absolument :D
C'est vrai
Lol
"That's racist you twat" hahaha You're the best XD
that one got me as well hahahah
I really enjoy the way you teach….I use to think in English and try to translate it in my head but it doesn’t jive…:your lively personality helps me focus on the sentiment and then the French phrase comes to mind….,.far more organic! Thank you!
You are 420 🙏
Reiterating what everyone has said, Yes Lya is the absolute best ~ Elle est la meillure!! ~ and for you guys who say you need it slower, put the playback speed to .75x. I do it sometimes and you can hardly tell the difference in the natural sound of it!

Thanks Lya. Merci Lya.
Lya I love watching this lessons of yours !
Came back to this video to remind me this cheerful lya
There's some gender things you need to know, (for the english/americans)
So, if you want to say you are pretty :
If you talk to a boy you need to say :
Tu es joli/beau
To a girl :
Tu es jolie/belle
you add a "e" to "joli" and you change the word "beau" for belle.
If you have some questions about a word, you can ask it to me !
Thank you for the notice! I have a question, since there’s gender based words, like “ami” & “amie”, “joli” & “jolie”, do you still pronounce them the same even though they’re differently spelled, and will people understand what gender you’re referring to?
@@vchlopie9357 It's the same pronounciation ;-)
This helped so much!
Merci beaucoup
Trying to learn French. Love your clips. Make learning fun. And - You are easy on the eyes and ears. Thank you.
J’adore ton vidéo de français, très bien!
for beginner I surmise that slow version of these words will help
I could watch this all day. Literally.
It's really nice I love it, thanks you so much
Lya is back!
ofcourse
Very good and helpful. I learnt a lot.
You are so funny 😄 and I like your teaching technique
How do you say "you are pretty, but please speak slower"
oligokid Vous ettes très belle, mais, est-ce que tu peux dit plus tard , s'il vu plait?
Vous êtes jolie, mais s'il vous plaît, parlez moins vite. (David K nice try but wrong)
Tu es très jolie mais parler plus lentement s'il vous plaît xD. You are reffering to Lya no?
Vous êtes jolie, mais pouvez-vous parler plus lentement ?
Vous êtes jolie, mais s'il vous plaît parler plus lentement
Loved your podcasts!
Living in paris I think that I hear "par contre" much more than "de l’autre côté", but maybe its because I’m always with young people in informal situations
Hi, no you're right, there are some bad examples in the video.
"De l'autre côté" is more formal, we say "par contre" in daily life.
"Aucun doute là-dessus" is quite formal, it should be "J'en suis sûr" or "c'est sûr".
The worst is "Je crains d'être en désaccord" that litteraly nobody use, we say "Je ne suis pas d'accord."
Luv your videos Good pace.
I came here looking for knowledge. What I was looking for was enveloped by the good vibes surrounding Lya's personal phrases and expressions. And she is very beautiful, too. What a combination!
i love this, this is very useful
The lesson is so good.
😍 You literally have the cutest accent
Just beginning. This is helpful. And she's funny. I like vintage french with female singers.
I want to mention that in spoken french (casual speech), we often if not always drop the 'ne' in negative sentences. We say 'Je sais pas' instead of 'Je ne sais pas'. And also, we don't use 'nous' in every day conversation but 'on'.
I really like the way she teaches is very simple ❤❤❤
many thanks
Thank you so much I think you are very beutiful and that made it very easy to keep learning from you plus you are fun to watch, anyway just wanted to thank you
Lya is wonderful! Does anybody know how to create a video class? Which free platform can I use to make videos and write texts like those on this channel?
I love the rando commentary within the lesson.
Beaucoup d'humour. Très sympa. Merci.
Lya thank you for the videos... slower will help us, beginners

I want to help you now because you helped me. "Just paying it forward." Thank you for the lesson. So, in English, "think" is not pronounced as "sink." To say "th" requires you place your tongue, just past its tip, directly pressing against the bottom of your front teeth, with about one quarter inch of the tongue sticking forward of the upper front teeth and lightly force air, allow it to pass or escape, between the teeth above and the tongue underneath. If you wish to say "s" in English, you match your teeth together like in see, sink, and sad and allow air to pass between the teeth (the tongue is behind the closed top and bottom front teeth. The "s" sound is different than the "th" sound. (Still different also is the "t" sound as in "tell" or "touch" where you slightly curl your tongue behind your front teeth and tap the roof of your mouth and push a short burst of air past it.)
"Sink" versus "think." It is concerned with the tongue and air/ throat and teeth. Remember "th" means place your tongue against the bottom of the front upper teeth . Lift your tongue to your upper front teeth. Now push air from your throat and let it flow unimpeded to your teeth and tongue and move your tongue to open away from the bottom of your front teeth. Now you try it. Play with your mouth and tongue and air and teeth. You need to watch people's mouths like a baby does its parent. Good luck! Thanks again!
ha ha ha, Some would kill to get that French Accent ...I wonder if she said to herself " u no what yu kan doo wiz your 'th'"
She’s sooo fun 💙

Love this, thank you! Is it Qu'en pensez-vous? Or Que pensez-vous?
Just for info, to scarf in English is a technical term used in woodworking; eating food greedilly is to scoff.

Guys, it's okay that she speaks naturally (fast), so we'll get used to it. You can slow the video down to hear it better.

What’s the difference between pensez and penses?
Hello,
The verb ending changes according to the subject pronoun.
Je pense
Tu penses
Il/ elle pense
Nous pensons
Vous pensez
Ils / elles pensent
Bonne journée

Merci; c'est vrai que j'ai apprendu quelque chose dans cette video. Surtout avec le pronunciation des mots. J'ai besoin de beaucoup d'aide avec la Francais et, absolutement, je n'aime pas la musique du banjo.
