What a hell of a show this must have been. The last airshow I saw was at Davis-Mothan AFB just a few miles from my home here in Tucson, AZ, USA a few years ago. Featured flyers included the Airforce Thunderbirds, with a few routines done by a F-22 Raptor, the local A-10 guys, and some vintage warbirds. But, man, this video is a airplane buff's wet dream. Compared to this, the events were barnyard petting zoos. These Brits sure know how to put on a truly International airshow. Other than Farnborough or the Paris airshow, something famous like that, I'd never seen such an amazing diversity of civilian and military aircraft like this. Thanks for all this great coverage granny... Great fun watching and wishing.

I'm lucky to live in southern Ontario because pretty well every weekend our Lancaster bomber(from the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum) is out flying around. Since most times it is at fairly low altitude, I get to fully enjoy the absolutely incredible sounds of those 4 Merlins!! The lovely bit at 4:30 nearly does it as much justice as seeing it in real life!! Fabulous videoing, Bob!!

The B2 Bomber shouldn't have had the escort so you can 'hear' it sneak up on you....very chilling to just see something that big with minimal sounds just a few hundred feet above the deck.
the escort is for 2 reasons over seas at airshows, 1. the tower radar cant see it coming so the F-15s are there for the tower to track its position 2. if someone did take a shot at it the F-15s can help with ir decoys, ecm, and also attacking the threat.

I tried to give y'all a good show in the new 2040c F -15 Eagle this year! They've put a lot of restrictions on us when we're going over top of the crowd in low flying zone! I tried to get some of the F 22 Raptor or Euro Fighter Typhoon guys to give y'all sonic boom but they said the penalty is far more than they could pay in environmental fees along with many other fees tacked in there as well! Hope you all enjoyed the show if you were there! 🇺🇸🇬🇧🇺🇸🇬🇧 next year they've got a big surprise for any jet fighter or bomber enthusiast!

I worked at site 4, Northrop’s final assembly B2 facility in the early 90s in Palmdale, California (for Boeing, the major subcontractor to Northrop/Grumman on the B2 program). It is a really cool piece of technology. However, it’s much more impressive when it is flying over you. Also, I’ve been inside it (in fact all over it), and the flight deck of a Boeing 737 is actually more impressive to look at too.
It’s incredible that we live in time where we’re able to engineer these types of planes. The first time I saw a b-2 bomber I thought I was watching a trailer for a new Star Wars movie

The skies of Gloucestershire has for most of the last century always had interesting AirCraft overhead. As a very small boy in the early 1950s, I heard my first sonic double BOOM directly over the City Centre where I lived. My older relatives long since gone worked at "The GAC" ~ Gloster Aircraft Company and actually lived in a big house at the edge of Brockworth Aerodrome close to the factory hangers where Javelins were being prepared for their maiden flight. Nine year old me and my six year old brother explored the more remote parts of the airfield where a ramshackle metal Barn was located. One or two of the large sheets of metal panels had worked loose so we explored inside. There inside that old tin barn was a pristine Gloster Gladiator. Watching newly outshopped Javelins warming their engines prior to take off lasted ages. Then they were gone. The scorched earth location had ruts and deep cracks in it your legs could easily slip down and get trapped. On another visit to our relatives, that little old BiPlane was being readied to appear at an Air Show. It took off and the pilot really threw it about directly overhead for several minutes practicing his show routine I guess. Then flew away South. Two little boys had their own little private Airshow. Great days gone forever but those memories live on. I drove across what little remains of GAC this afternoon. LIttle sign of any airfield except for the street names. Now massive Industrial Units and high density housing cover most of the area where both AirCraft and rare butterflies also flew.
The B-2 is majestic and like someone else noted, still somewhat alien, the Germans were working on a flying wing, we perfected it. There was also a lot of that girls butt for whatever reason.
I live near Edwards AFB and we constantly have all kinds of aircraft flying overhead. The coolest so far was being outside when a B2 flew overhead, followed a minute or so later by the smell of jet exhaust.

My older relatives long since gone worked at "The GAC" ~ Gloster Aircraft Company and actually lived in a big house at the edge of Brockworth Aerodrome close to the factory hangers where Javelins were being prepared for their maiden flight. Nine year old me and my six year old brother explored the more remote parts of the airfield where a ramshackle metal Barn was located. One or two of the large sheets of metal panels had worked loose so we explored inside. There inside that old tin barn was a pristine Gloster Gladiator. Watching newly outshopped Javelins warming their engines prior to take off lasted ages. Then they were gone. The scorched earth location had ruts and deep cracks in it your legs could easily slip down and get trapped.
On another visit to our relatives, that little old BiPlane was being readied to appear at an Air Show. It took off and the pilot really threw it about directly overhead for several minutes practicing his show routine I guess. Then flew away South. Two little boys had their own little private Airshow. Great days gone forever but those memories live on. I drove across what little remains of GAC this afternoon. LIttle sign of any airfield except for the street names. Now massive Industrial Units and high density housing cover most of the area where both AirCraft and rare butterflies also flew.
Bloody hell, you have better airshows in the UK than we have here in America!

The B-2 is majestic and like someone else noted, still somewhat alien, the Germans were working on a flying wing, we perfected it. There was also a lot of that girls butt for whatever reason.

B2 is amazing. I live where we can hear them warming up for take off if the weather conditions are right. Love that plane.
Only seen one, reasonably close and flying - and orgasmic experience.
I live near Edwards AFB and we constantly have all kinds of aircraft flying overhead. The coolest so far was being outside when a B2 flew overhead, followed a minute or so later by the smell of jet exhaust.
