Where you going? Lol. I'm just playing. I do HOPE this is in my whatever, in a 1000 years, after my inner-being figures out it's next evolutionary path Untraveled. Cheers to revisiting Art of Doubt in a 1,000!!! Great fuvking idea! ❤❤❤
Man, you don't usually hear her scream in music because you wouldn't think that it's that type of rock. But even when she does things like screaming, they know how to make the song sound amazing. Idk how to properly phrase what I'm trying to say lol. Its just, even while sounding experimental sometimes, they still manage to make the song go incredibly well.

wow just wow, amazing!! i love the vibe, the feeling, it's amazing how Metric can play any type of melody, from very calm songs to electro pop to this very rock ish song!! i love them so much!!
An absolute masterpiece ... I concur.... I love so much of everything Metric has created and released , but, Art of Doubt is still my favorite! Every freaking song is amazing, which is so rare from my experience with albums since I bought a scratched up copy of the Eagle's Hotel California from my oldest brother (7.5 yrs older) for seriously $0.50 ... my first album I ever owned....lol...fun ..
If I loved, lived, laughed Metric in an Imperial measurement B4...Now The Art of Doubt is beyond a shadow of a doubt the Best Effort that grabs two senses intensely. Keep up the awesomeness Emily. Ok L.A.F.S....The guys just do their jazz like bosses. Dartmouth is calling, hope to C U L8R, B4 U C ME, please keep Halifax in mind if a tour is in the works. \/n/
I'm getting major Silent Hill 2 vibes from this one and it sounds very good. The only thing I don't like is the typo where you wrote 'they' instead of 'the' in the phrase, "There's a promise on the way, yeah." Other than that, this one is perfect.
This song is so goddamn good. I think I'm probably just gonna hang out here in the comments section off and on for the next few months probably. Comments section and chill I guess.

This song is alright but the screaming part is hard to listen to...i don’t know if it was the best creative choice. At least to me, it sounds too forced. I’m glad people like it though, I love Metric. Their newer stuff post fantasies is just not for me :(
This band has been wayward since Synthetica . I miss the older sound that was more ambient and more like Blonde redhead mixed with Stars. This album is more rock / pop based. meh. the title track is awesome, but overall, this album is hit or miss. some tracks shine, others are boring.
The album is pure art. No doubt. Metric never fails 👍
This album is a MASTERPIECE. I can't wait to see them in Guadalajara Mexico, Emily is a rock diva, my favorite forever.
This is such a powerful song.
What an album.. This is a classic folks. And I just discovered them 2 days ago..
Explore the Garbage(band) catalog as well. You will thank me.
@@carlgibbons5777 Ladytron too for a more electronic sound.
@@Mindphaser1 I will throw in Republica self titled album. Masterpiece.
In a 1000 years we'll still be listening to metric

Metric is known to promote superlor life extension (by any metric), so buy any Metric.

These lyrics are everything.
Best song from the album
This album is just fantastic.
Oh shit, Emily Haines is screaming on a new song. 😱
An experience just as good as hearing Matt Berninger of The National screaming on their records. 😁
this is pretty freaking metal, isn't it
I love this band ! 💜

I fell in love with this band after hearing this for the first time.
Lucky you. Such a great backlog of stuff to plow through now. Like finding an awesome show that just wrapped season 5. Happy Binge-Listening to You!!
@@scotttroy369 i know right. ive been listening for a while and still not even close to being done with their whole discography
Thanks everyone in Metric for the awesome new tunes! This title track is my favorite song on Earth right now.
These lyrics are awesome, very powerful. Love the sound too. So good!
Anyone else think that this is very reminiscent of Old World Underground or Live it Out? Like I’m living for the throwback style of this song
We will add this to our collection....We love Metric in Minnesota USA!!!! Come play for us
All this isolation's sinister.
I'm in love with it.
Metric is so amazing!♡
Best song on the new album. Period.
I heard this live and I’ve been waiting forever to hear the studio version

This is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo goood
Maravilloso
Pensé que no había gente de habla Hispana que le guste esta banda :O
Yo conozco bastante gente que le gusta de hecho
holaaa :D
Yeah, it looks like Shakira
Aquí una sudamericana que los ama y llora porque nunca vienen a tocar por acá abajo :(
Es una de mis canciones favoritas de este álbum. Mucha potencia! 👌😍
Imma cover this someday 🫶
this is a fuckin certified banger
The Live It Out Screams are back!
Best band Since Gun's N Roses.
I love how this album is more leaning to metal where the last few were more toward techno. But it still is typical metric
Metal? lol
@@tohono yeah, more indie than metal lol.
Rock, maybe. Metal, no.
I'd like to hear a frog leap studios cover of this one.
DO IT
I'd like to hear Deftones cover this song,it could sound truly amazing.
21st comment for September 21! Love the new album!

I must issue a correction. It goes better with Silent Hill 3 than Silent Hill 2.
Holy fucking cow
I need to find more metric songs where she screams
😍
Sounds like a phantogram song
Happy solstice, 666th like ;)

You said: Don't let your breath run out

Well it's true, I push too hard I guess
To use whatever fuel is left
At it's best it's all the art of doubt
Well, I really don't know how we call this peace
'Cause it's a goddamn shame about the wall to wall wars
Pleading self-defence but the story's old
Now there's worth that we're told
There's a promise on the way, yeah
