- We bought the cheapest dirt bike on the internet...will it survive a lap of our motocross test track? Let's find out!
This Yamaha TTR 125 farm bike was in a sorry state when we took ownership of it. So I gave my mechanic friend Sean the challenge of bringing it back to life. It was a tough task, but I promised him that if he was successful and the bike was able to complete a lap of the track he would win a money can't buy prize....the opportunity to be the first man in the world to ride our 600cc Panthera 2 Stroke!
So this is the moment of truth for the little Yamaha, unfortunately for Sean the heavens have opened and the track is a muddy mess. Let's see if the bike can survive the ride!

That looks so fun getting muddy - withot need for a kickstand LOL - and this video is why they call it a dirt bike !!! Sean sits back and laughs while 999 is riding or say surviving - great fun you and your team has - and the street tire on the frt PERFECT !!!!!!!!!

I’d recommend to talk to Pit Bike Cambs about upgrades, there is also the British Minicross Champs that run with AMCA if you fancy making Shaun suffer for our entertainment once again… 😂
7-One Racing or Pit Bike Cambs are the guys to speak too! Sounds like either the carb needs a clear out or the mixture screw is completely off. Should give the pitbikes a go racing next year!😁

Dude, if you want to make that bike as fast as possible, you need to get in touch with Carson Brown, and look at bbr motorsports for race upgrades.
I have that same bike pretty much I've got the 2005 small frame and it's pretty mint it wheelies well too

from what i remember of my ttr125 1st and 2nd gear were both absolutely useless i can’t believe ur out there on a slick tho🤣
Plenty of upgrades you could do from suspension to big bore.
However for once I would say take it to Yamaha.
They do this really great service for old, tired and generally crap bikes where all you need to do is take it in, pay a not unsubstantial amount of money and it comes out with way better suspension, loads more power and generally in much better condition.
They call it the "part exchange" programme.
Been trying to get a little ttr for our daughter but they are really strongly priced atm!! Ever want to sell it I will have it lol awesome video as always!

Lmao ,I remember my Suzuki TC 125 ,not enough power to do much. Shift up and down all day long. My guess for your lap time 13:07 I was close to the ending.

I’ve raced in conditions worse than this 😂 I describe it as riding through chocolate cake batter. Sticky,thick and horrible
Both one for my son after suzuki pw80 and it worked really good on enduro trails. Long absent of using it and it was painful to start but if driven weekly basis, started 1-3 kicks. Good bike but just a little underpowered though.

No wonder you had trouble with this bike. This is an electric bike and you have added gasoline and oil to the battery compartment. I'm glad it didn't catch fire.

For the money and effort its a shame it never ran properly. Youd of been better off getting a mullered stomp pirbike for £300 or something instead 😅

Why wouldn't you wait until it was dry? Instead take a bike that's runs poorly and then proceed to hold it off the limiter..a new bike wouldn't even like that
