💀gugu’s death was definitely way harder to handle in every way the build up the back clash it had on everyone and fushi’s development overall paronas death was a real shock but that’s just it it wasn’t even emotional her death overall was disappointing and could’ve been expanded

I haven’t hated a character as much as her in as long as I can remember. They did a great job on making her an antagonist that’s on par with the Nokkers in terms of how much pain they cause. She’s a very well written character, and because of that, she ranks as one of my most hated anime villains.

She made it her priority to prevent Mizuha from becoming the cult leader rather than her daughter's own sake when it should have been the reverse, and because of that Mizuha grew up on a spartan regime of activities, with no friends or social life, and as a result she became resentful of the situation that was imposed on her. The irony is that Mizuha became interested in Fushi in part thanks to her mother's abusive treatment, which was just the last thing Izumi wanted.

She who every year was going to sacrifice a little child to a false god, now she meets a being who is the closest to it. What made Hayase's character so memorable is her total lack of remorse and an obsession pushed to the extreme. If she had not been confronted with the Nokker, I am sure she would have been able to quickly pull herself together to escape her situation in order to track him down again. Endless sickness.

He is like a IA that learns & evolves. He takes the form of anything that stimulates him. The stronger the stimuli, whether physical or emotional, the better he can transform into this form. He grew attached to his friends who she killed & Fushi grew to feel compassion & grief.

But MAN, she really had to take lives of two of the best characters in the series.
