- I arrived and noticed my husband's behavior was really strange. He wasn't the thoughtful, charming guy I thought I had been emailing, but rather he was cold and distant. Many months had passed and all I had really received from him were glances in disgust and the bare minimum in conversations.. he couldn't even TOUCH me. I knew this behavior was definitely not normal, and DEFINITELY not the love I had hoped for. Eventually, I couldn't take it anymore and I broke down crying to him.. I guess this made him take pity on me because we somehow ended up in bed together and before I knew it I was knocked up.
My husband and I are no longer together, but we're still trying to get divorced. Now that I look back I realize how uneducated I was in the whole ordeal and wish that I had just left sooner so he could be happy with who he wanted to be. To this day he will still not admit that he likes men - I wish that he did because it is no sin. The sin is in the lies he told me. But, it doesn't matter, because now my son and I are finally safe and happy.

I get that some people are not accepting of the LGBT community, however you do not treat people the way this man treated his family, he should have been upfront with his wife and maybe she could have helped in some way, even if it was just leaving him and let him be in his own so he can have the freedom to explore

Here is the difference, did you notice how she talked about the country and how she said they could be killed for that. Well now Imagine having internalised homophobia and living in that situation. If it was normal marriage I would agree that cheating was wrong, however it seemed like neither of them had a say in it. She also knew he liked man and kept making advances even after. The only thing he did wrong in my opinion is how he treated his son. He son didn't deserve that but everyone else got what they deserve.

Also I seen many people saying why dosent he just move to another country. Well first of all he has internalised homophobia so that wouldent help on it's own. Second it isn't as easy as people make it out to be. You need plans, packing and money to leave. Plus if he did that there could have been possibility that he will lose touch with his family. Third for some people it is alot harder to leave country they grew up even if they are unhappy there.

I'm sorry I sound ignorant but I definitely won't underestimate situations like this, I know it's hard, like I mentioned, it's literally manipulation, and I know the lady in this story had a child in her already and there were possibly many more reasons to why she couldn't leave this relationship besides that she is pregnant such as maybe just general family pressure.
