- The personal statement is a crucial part of the university application process, and unlike admission exams or interviews, it is mandatory, regardless of the schools you are applying to. Admission tutors read hundreds if not thousands of personal statements every year, so you need to make sure yours stands out, sets you apart from the rest of the candidates. But this doesn’t have to frighten you at all, since we are talking about a personal statement, so it only needs to reflect your own voice, personality and passions.

Thing is though you are clearly incredibly smart so it doesn't really matter what you wrote. How would someone capable but not that gifted get their interest across?

I want to study Business And Management and in personal they also ask what's your experience? What Experience I am 19 ?! I can be completely honest but I just cant to put the on words😭😭
Dude such experiences definitely impact your statement ofc but admission tutors know that not everyone (especially 19) was lucky enough to get opportunities to gain some experience

If you were to rewrite your essay now, how would you have modified it? BTW: I have liked the way you wrote your essay.
Did you link your the extra-curricular activities to your course/major that you wrote in the fifth paragraph?
I’ve written only that short paragraph about it all, because I had to be brief and stay within the word limit - so I just said that I made maths come alive in a way that’s personal to me through these extracurricular activities.

Im applying for Oxford Computer Science and i don't have a lot of achievements to show in Computer Science as my school did not hold any competitive exams in Csc. So would you please tell me a few things to include in my personal statement ?
But late, but I suggest taking a few online courses- some colleges offer free lectures as well, so watch those and name drop then in your essay. That'll actually show that you took initiative and that you're passionate enough to study it on your own, which Uni's like.
To apply to Oxford you need to show that your academic achievements are top 1% of the school. If you would like to study Computer science, you can talk about some project or program you wrote in some language, which is above the level of your high school. If you achieve some awards in Olympiads in mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or Computer Science will give you some advantage as well. There is an entrance Oxford STEP MATHS exam which you need to pass in order to pass to the next stage. Make sure if you mention something in the personal statement, it reflects your interests and passion. They might invite you for the interview where you might be asked to solve difficult problems, they want to see your analytical and critical thinking.

I didn’t apply for scholarships - they don’t really offer a wide variety of them. However, I have taken a credit for my tuition fee from the UK government.

Getting at any uni isn’t t rhat bad or hard, remeber that any uni from the west is hard to get because many stundeta aren’t differencing themselves from the majority of the classic good students.
Rhe only way she did this thing is that is took a long eay to difference herself from the rest of her high school. That s why so many don t enter, even with really good grades
