Swiss Airlines from Miami MIA to Zurich ZRH in an Airbus 330.

Today we fly with Swiss Air from Miami to Zurich. It has been about 20 years since last time we flew with them. We travel in economy class and the aircraft is an Airbus 330
We also visit the Turkish Airlines lounge at MIA.

I thoroughly enjoyed yet another of your videos: always thoughtful and comprehensive, with a wonderful eye for detail. As I'm sure you've noticed, in the interest of economy, carriers are having to cut corners wherever possible. It's been my experience that one big cost-cutter is on the second meal service. Just to put things in context: these days - while not enough of a breakfast for a hungry Viking! - what you were served is WAYYYY ahead of those carriers offering only a small sandwich or a granola bar as breakfast. (That said, you now have me salivating, remembering the Viking-sized breakfast buffets offered at several Copenhagen hotels.) Once again, thank you for sharing this with us.

Very nice trip report! Quick question, how full would you say your flight was? I flew this same flight last week and I was very surprised that it was only 50% full, was this the case on your flight too?

Thanks! I would say in economy class about 65-70%, probably more in business. Suisse had two departures that day for Zurich , one with A 330 that we took and the other with a Boeing 777

Switzerland is such a unique country, with one of the top GDP per capita in the world. It’s slightly disappointing the airline doesn’t offer a product with a little touch of charm or character. I guess it’s just a transportation business, nothing more. Nice video, though.

It is not a Swiss airline, it belongs to Lufthansa (Germany).
