  • since I got this bike 2 weeks ago I have noticed the front forks bleeding air out of the bladder side into the outer chamber. it's going back for warranty tomorrow. I must say this is the first ktm I have ever had a warranty problem with

Hey man I don't know if you'll get this, but how do the air forks hold up for a heavyweight 100-110 kg? If ya know thanks.

Never been fully happy with the AER fork, I have 19’ 300xc and 22’ 250sx. I put Ohlins fork and shock on the 250sx and could not be happier. I will be doing the same with the 300xc

The early air fork just needed the midvalve kit. 21 and 22 ride beautiful. Like really good

@@ReeceTasker happened to a buddy of mine on his 2020 350xcf… brand new on his first ride… obviously they covered it under warranty

@@Bimmere Mine was covered under warranty however I was not prepared to be without the bike for 10 weeks while waiting for the parts that were available in 4 days. Sure it cost me $600 ($200 to the dealership that couldn't get it done) and $400 for the seal head and rebuilding. Dealership said they had 2 other bikes with the same problem.....

@@ReeceTasker damn!! I know parts have been getting rather thin in term of availability… I know my suspension tuner told me that ktm factory racing team had to call them and buy some suspension parts off of them since they didn’t have a certain part and couldn’t get it… crazy times man!!

@@Bimmere WP is the USA had the parts in hand and I had them through #RMRSuspensions in 4 days! something the dealership couldn't do in 10 weeks

The bike has to be on the stand when you bleed it so there isnt any pressure on the fork.

😰 I Just picked up the identical bike. I think your issues is a fluke, mine is okay so far. Hope its just a warrentee issue

I have had about 10 bikes with the air forks (give or take) and never a problem either. Its unusual for sure

I think considering the amount of bikes I have had and this the only problem its pretty good. Be nice when its fixed though
