It's interesting, I see many more of the younger 195 driver wheeling them on, but the older school always went to a three point first. I was lucky enough to have ridden around in a bunch of these when I was a kid growing up. There were probably 8 or so guys, most of them Korean War Vets, pipe smokers, too young for WWII, anyhow they were the 195 drivers of the airport and I got to run around with them here and there. Great airplane! She will treat you right if you treat her right. If you don't treat her right, good luck. I rode though one "runway excursion". It went around so hard the engine quit, filled the wheelpant up with sod. The gear held and the wing never touched. He blamed it on a bad brake, but that side was locked up as we left the runway, he was just behind it. You HAVE to put them on the ground straight or just go around when it says no no.
I got to ride along in a Cessna 195 that was owned by a USAF Col. (B-52 driver) in 1970. The 195 could really scoot along and was a big change from Cherokee 140s and an Aeronca Champion, until a few months later when I got to ride along in a T-34 Mentor. The cumulative experience had me understanding Captain Kirk on TV when he was asking Scotty for more power.
A few injected radio engine that does not hurt the engine. Does it and know if you've getten 300 horsepower? Out of it, but I'd like to know more about the radio engines and fuel injecting. Could I am old school which one of thattain low lead? Yeah, please get back with me and let me know how the fuel injected in works.Thank you bye for now robert
Hi! I am working on a Cessna 195 flight sim video! May I use some of the cockpit audio for my video? You will be credited if I use any portion in my video. Thanks and blue skies from The Flight Level!
Wow, that dash is stunning.

One of the few videos of the 195 that I heard a stall warning when landing. Brings back a lot of memories.
