- As of late, I am surprised how my clinical theater is gravitating to posterior zirconia options. This video is my pre-sintered finishing steps and applies to the brands associated with CEREC zirconia options.

You videos are amazing and very simple to implement! You are gifted artist. Continue doing great work Dr. Klim!
Thank you very much!
beautiful work on that anatomy. I love creating that as well. I was always unhappy with the CEREC anatomy. now I know. Thanks
Yes, it is all about bur size used to mill and occlusal reduction. I still like the craft of sculpting. I do the same on zirconia as well. Take care!
Really nice presentation,thank you.
Is there katana pre centering kit?
Do you have any videos about staining zirconia before sintering?
Pre color for Zirconia is done with infiltration. However no stain and glaze. ruclips.net/video/G7iEda-iHyY/видео.html
Hey, thank you so much for your videos. I watch a lot of them. I was wondering if you knew how many crowns you would get out of those diamond occlusal shaping burs? I want to buy that kit also I was wondering if you have tried the new dent supply zirconia crowns? What do you think of those? What is your preferred cement for zirconia? What lab motor and handpiece do you use? Thank you so much for all the effort you put out on these videos. They’re greatly appreciated.
Green zirconia is soft, so the diamond and shapers last long since they are made for pre-sintered zirconia. When choosing a zirconia brand, the most important is to know if it is a 3Y, 4Y, or 5Y. This will determine occlusal reduction and aesthetics. I do like the Katana1 for its quick turnaround. My favored aesthetic choice is ZirCAD MT Multi, but it takes longer to sinter. I use a resin glass ionomer for cementation. Currently, I am using ZirCAD Cement. My lab motor is the brushless Buffalo lab motor, and I love it. All the best!
Thanks so much!
What speed RPM are you running your carbide burs at to adjust in the pre-sinter state? Still under that 10K speed? I'm assuming here you had plenty of thickness to add all of that anatomy, but if you only had 1mm in the mill state, you wouldn't be able to take that maybe .3mm from those grooves without compromising the thickness -right? Crazy good anatomy though - very beautiful work!
Yes, you know the thickness from design metrics and calibrate carving and refines relatively. 10K is a safe speed on green zirconia.
Dr Klim, thanks again for this... I have been using your technique and am loving it! We had one crown come out of sintering with a fracture. It was plenty thick. In asking some in my community, some said maybe it was from excessive prepolishing but in watching your video you are going to town on that anatomy compared to what I do!!!
Is there a risk of creating a fracture post sinter from prepolishing like this?
Lastly, I am finding a lot of dust and "crud" in the grooves and anatomy I created. The polishers don't get into those grooves to polish bc of the angles... Should I get a pink and white cone to prepolish in the grooves? I don't know how you got yours so clean.... Mine have a lot of dust in them. Do you use something else or just the twist drills? Thanks again!
Where can I purchase this kit? I'm from Macedonia ( Europe ). Does it ship here?
Go to the website link and look at the identification codes for each bur. You may not be able to get the kit in Europe. However, you should be able to order the individual burs and polishers from Meisinger Europe. All the best.
Does this kit work for emax as well?
There is another kit design for ceramics JK03
Sir I want this finishing kit. Please tell me how to purchase. In india or your side.
I am not sure how you will purchase in India. Are you able to order from Meisinger Europe? All the best.
