- What Are Your Options and What Type of Dental Crown Looks Best?
What are the major differences between the options?
How are they made?
This video dives into the permanent dental restoration options from the Crown and Bridge Department.
We take a look at @Ivoclar-global E.max lithium disilicate, Bruxzir zirconia from @GlidewellDental, PFM porcelain crowns and solid metal crowns.
A dental crown is necessary when a tooth suffers damage from either physical damage or decay and needs to be replaced.
This video series should not be used in place of seeing a dentist. It is impossible to accurately diagnose the source of pain or discomfort without an exam and updated x-rays.

Manuel crafting of crowns has been out of date for at least 10 years. No physical mold or hand work or time needed anymore with 3D scans that the dentist then design the crown what assistant software. New crown is milled by a machine and then cooked by the dentist and then fitted all in one appointment.

The metal is titanium and I HATE mine! (For teeth). It used to look black on top and now looks blue.
Моделировка так себе, всё оплавлено..нет нормальной сепарации
All implants should be FREE OF CHARGE!! end of story
Who could do them free of charge?
Spoken like a true ignorant person.
@@murimurimruithey should be, dentists should also be paid.
Public hospitals should provide free healthcare.
Private dentists or clinics have the right to charge money for their work.
It’s a human right to be healthy and painfree !
In my country healthcare is free for low income individuals and like myself Students, but I chose a private dentist to not wait very long as I needed to travel to the US and I feared having to pay a fortune there, I got a root canal and two crowns for the cost of an average monthly salary in my country (around 250$ usd), which I’m grateful for being able to get, but other people are not so lucky and just for being of average or low income have to endure pain for a long period of time.
Access to healthcare is a human right but it shouldn’t be at the cost of private dentists.
@@Azz-M Lol, clearly you have not heard of the long wait times of the NHS nor of Canadian Health Care. The wait time to see a specialist/to get needed surgery is intentional to make you self delete.
Please, seek Canadian Health Care.
@@murimurimrui I neither said that I’m from Canada nor the UK.
Long wait times apply to us however, but it’s free.
