    Symptoms
In men, hair often begins to recede from the forehead.
    Male-pattern baldness
Women tend to lose hair along the part.
    Female-pattern baldness
Patchy hair loss (alopecia areata) is sometimes preceded by itchy or painful scalp.
    Patchy hair loss (alopecia areata)
Repeated stress on the hair can cause a type of hair loss called traction alopecia.
    Traction alopecia
t's becoming increasingly common for menopausal women to experience frontal fibrosing alopecia, in which the hairline moves back.
    Frontal fibrosing alopecia
Hair loss can appear in many different ways, depending on what's causing it. It can come on suddenly or gradually and affect just your scalp or your whole body.
Signs and symptoms of hair loss may include:
Gradual thinning on top of head. This is the most common type of hair loss, affecting people as they age. In men, hair often begins to recede at the hairline on the forehead. Women typically have a broadening of the part in their hair. An increasingly common hair loss pattern in older women is a receding hairline (frontal fibrosing alopecia).
Circular or patchy bald spots. Some people lose hair in circular or patchy bald spots on the scalp, beard or eyebrows. Your skin may become itchy or painful before the hair falls out.
Sudden loosening of hair. A physical or emotional shock can cause hair to loosen. Handfuls of hair may come out when combing or washing your hair or even after gentle tugging. This type of hair loss usually causes overall hair thinning but is temporary.
Full-body hair loss. Some conditions and medical treatments, such as chemotherapy for cancer, can result in the loss of hair all over your body. The hair usually grows back.
Patches of scaling that spread over the scalp. This is a sign of ringworm. It may be accompanied by broken hair, redness, swelling and, at times, oozing.
    When to see a doctor
See your doctor if you are distressed by persistent hair loss in you or your child and want to pursue treatment. For women who are experiencing a receding hairline (frontal fibrosing alopecia), talk with your doctor about early treatment to avoid significant permanent baldness.
Also talk to your doctor if you notice sudden or patchy hair loss or more than usual hair loss when combing or washing your or your child's hair. Sudden hair loss can signal an underlying medical condition that requires treatment.
People typically lose 50 to 100 hairs a day. This usually isn't noticeable because new hair is growing in at the same time. Hair loss occurs when new hair doesn't replace the hair that has fallen out.

I get the feeling that his whole idea is luxury or more expensive means perfect quality without looking at actual factors that affect the experience. I feel he dove in with 0 research but full expectations. Good review man. Got my first system through a partnership and I’m expecting to struggle for a while until I get the ins and outs. Hello Jake, I'm glad you did this video. It's so important that other people who may stumble across his video get another perspective. As such I went over and commented on it myself. I echo what others already said: he paid too much, he didn't do his research, his expectations were way off, he really didn't give it enough time and apparently didn't speak up with the stylist he paid good money to. I hope he does more research with implants because that's a whole different level of commitment! Always appreciate you Jake, thank you.

It's so dangerous when people represent hair transplant surgery as just matter of fact and like it's no big deal like that Javier guy did. There are so many bad hair transplant docs out there and you can be scarred for life. I'm not saying some people don't get amazing results, but you need a really good donor area and a truly talented doctor AND you'll be on meds forever. It is not simple surgery, it's a big deal and needs to be researched and not entered into lightly.

(The whole dht is a trash hormone concept is just plain wrong.) I’ve spent alot of time researching the best route and unfortunately if I’m true to the evidence for me there is no way but bald or hair system. I refuse to fix the problem through messing w my my biology whenever the outcomes do not help my overall health.

I spotted this video before seeing yours here. I left him a polite and (I hope) constructive comment as I was also concerned about a number of things he said. He didn't react well, which suggests to me he's a bit thin skinned. Something certainly doesn't add up when he appears to boast about spending thousands on a daily shopping trip but then segues into "cheap" hair transplants in Turkey. I only ask that guys who are considering a hair transplant in Turkey do a lot of research as the standard of regulation is not the same as in the UK, EU and US. Plus, if something goes wrong it is a long way to go back and/or in the worst case to take legal action....On a personal note, I had my first system fitted a month back (in London where I live). A transplant is not an option for me as I have thin horse shoe hair (something to think about as it has thinned over the years and had I had a transplant from these areas I don't think it would look too good now). I have had no problems with irritation. I do appreciate that everyone is different, but that there are all sorts of tapes and glues and other teatments (like scalp protector) that can work if you have such issues. I plan to try a re-install myself in a few weeks (once I have got used to it all via a clinic) and have found your videos a great help. Thanks again for all you do.

This makes me realise that I was a foolish to give up on hair systems after one go back in 2019. Looking back, I spent months and months preping & the end result was AMAZING; I know first-hand it can look incredible, if done right. And I did it mostly right first time. But 6 days later I took it off and saw a bad skin reaction, really bad. And gave up. I should have given it longer and used other methods/products. But I threw it away and shaved.
But now I’m still not happy being bald and I work from home 99% of the time. Think I’ll try again. Why not, its my life.
